The Heart Of The 1000 Islands!

This well maintained and very private open concept cottage offers incredible boating and swimming. Deep clear water off of brand new 50 foot floating dock (a portion of the dock is shared with the owners boat). Stunning views of the St. Lawrence River that is ever changing. Large lot with lots of privacy.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms-2 with double beds and the master with a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped-all you have to bring is your food and drinking water!
Easy access to great restaurants, golf courses, boat tours, shopping and much much more!
The cottage is equipped with WiFi and Apple TV (no live TV).

True cottage vibes

The cottage itself is very cute and well maintained. Fully equipped and clean. The dock is great, the water is amazing! Very clear and deep. We didn’t have much luck with fishing, but still had a great time. 5/5 stars. We will absolutely rent again! Only recommendation would be to have the bbq cleaned.

It was not a pleasant stay. We were first greeted with a terrible moldy smell when we entered the house first time. The smell was never really gone away. Looked like the place was closed and not in used for long time.

Beautiful location right on the St. Lawrence River.

Our friends and we enjoyed a week at this cottage. Positives: location is perfect, right on a great bike trail, on the river, great swimming, and beautiful view. The cottage has a bright great room with large windows and a great wraparound deck. Negatives: no directions to cottage and GPS does not bring you to the right place. Once we found the dirt road, we crept over the remaining mile or so because it is so poorly maintained...rocks, ditches, etc. Also, you are asked to take garbage to the dump but not told that you need to get a tag somewhere to purchase your deposit to the landfill. Should have directions for that somewhere. Cottage just needed some basic improvements, lightbulbs, shower heads, toilet paper. The realty people were great to work with, helping us with boat rental locations and restaurants and brought in a new toaster when the old one did not work. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

1000 islands perfect vacation

4 adults enjoyed the spacious, bright cottage with a wall of windows overlooking the river. Very private location, yet close to Ganannoque (15 minutes). Spent most of our time on the huge deck and the brand new large dock. Ladder off dock to enter for swimming or jump in. Fished from dock. Well equipped cottage, we cooked 6 of 8 nights. It is a steep incline down to dock, we quickly learned to bring a bag with all that we needed. We broight our bikes and it was about 2.5 km to get to the Parkway path. Bikes stored in basement (easy access) when not in use. We rented a pontoon boat one day and did our own 1000 islands tour. Water location is in a cove but dock has full view of main channel to have perfect views of water traffic. Communication with agent top notch with quick responses. We had no children so only heads up is that there is no gradual entry into the water. That was perfect for us. We look forward to another vacation here.

Beautiful Setting

The setting on the St Lawrence is breathtaking. We spent a lot of time on the dock appreciating the view. We saw a muskrat, eagles and other wildlife. The cottage was clean. The view is also lovely from the balcony.

Beautiful view, and very well equipped

Very well equipped with just about everything you need. We were told it had a fire pit but it did not. Lots of stairs to get to water, an issue if your older.

Family-friendly getaway in the Thousand Islands

We spent our Canada Day and the Fourth of July vacation as a family of three generations. This house was great for everyone! Although the dock wasn't accessible due to high water levels all around the area, we enjoyed fishing off the shore. Porch and grill were perfect for lounging, eating, and for children to play on. Location is a quick drive from Gananoque and other neighboring towns, grocery, beer, and outdoors stores. We found the beds very comfortable and the kitchen supplies thoughtfully well-stocked. Owner was very responsive and addressed all of our concerns quickly. We would certainly return. Thanks for a great stay!
