Owner communicated back in a timely manner. Pet-friendly. Kitchen is awesome with a huge oven. Plenty of room for 11 people in our party. We want to stay again!
We had a great stay at The Gibson Grand! The host was extremely responsive and made everything super easy from start to finish. The house was spotless and felt very welcoming. We even got thoughtful welcome gifts, which was such a nice touch. Overall, a really comfortable stay and I’d definitely come back!
Beautiful historical home. It was perfect in size and the host was very good and responded to every message I sent him. He left us chocolates and a basket full of goodies and wine. Also, the bathrooms had plenty of toiletries.
Our stay here was so much better than expected. Massive interior so our grands had lots of room to run, play and explore, while the adults were intrigued with all the antiques and workmanship. Everyone had their own space which is always a good thing.Beach a mile away and the center of town with its park and absolutelty stunning baskets of flowers everywhere you turned. Many shops, wineries, restaurants, library, and great historical neighborhoods to walk or bike.North East is where I grew up and it just keeps getting better. Great hometown and always wonderful to return.
I stayed here with 10 girlfriends for a crafting weekend. It was perfect! The bedrooms are huge! Plenty of space and very clean. The lot for parking was such an added bonus. The house is very beautiful. It was drafty and cold in the kitchen area but the living room and dining space were warmer. It was also extremely cold outside so it was to be expected. All in all it was a great weekend.
We had a really great weekend in North East staying at the Gibson Grand. The beautiful historic house worked great for our group with a lot of space to spread out. We really enjoyed the kitchen and courtyard area. The location is also perfect for exploring town easily. We went to Gibson Park for the Saturday morning Open Market. We also walked to "The Skunk and Goat" for dinner. Although the house provides a Keurig many in our group enjoyed their morning walk to "The Bean" for breakfast and more coffee!
