Regina apartment is in the historic downtown of Florence. It is quiet and peaceful because it is located in a secondary street, but a stone's throw from the Dome. It has been totally refurbished in 2022 and all the appliances are top notch and brand new.

In the immediate vicinity of Regina apt you will find a supermarket, restaurants, pizzerias, shops of all kinds, a pharmacy and more. The apt is also very close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, from where you can leave for a daily tour to Pisa, Siena, Bologna and, in less than 2 hours, also Milan and Rome.

The apartment consists of a large bedroom with a comfortable double bed and living room with a view of the Medici chapels, with sofa bed, A/C and TV.

A kitchen with oven, dishwasher, washing machine + dryer, induction cooker, microwave oven.

A bathroom with window and shower. The apartment is on the second floor, there is no lift but the stairs are wide and easy to climb.

Great several days in Florence

Lucia is very good host, she accommodated our late check in as our flight arrived after 10pm. Appartment is located on small street and also in the center of the city with several minutes walk to main attractions. We found this place very clean and it has all we needed for the short stay in the city. We would stay there again if we return to Florence.

Lovely, clean apartment with excellent location. Minutes away from the train station and yet felt safe and secure for those that don't know neighborhoods or are - like me - women traveling solo. Check-in process and host were easy to work with and the lovely person who met me with the keys very charming.I was in Florence as I was caught over a weekend in Italy for work - so wanted a place to relax, cook, drink a glass of wine, and do some quick basic laundry that was not a hotel. This apartment was perfect. Market just around the corner for food; wine store just around the corner for Barolo. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking basic meals. Bed was comfortable, and the AC/heat units worked well. I would absolutely return and recommend to friends.

Great place very roomy

We had a fabulous vacation in Florence and this property was the icing on the cake. Lucia was very helpful with getting us set and answering any questions we had. The fact that it had a working washer and dryer was a huge bonus for us. Feel free to book with confidence.

Great stay right where you want to be.

Very clean and well appointed. In the middle of most points of interest. On hot days we would stop off and take a rest till it cools off.

What a great property. Host was perfect. Property location was perfect. I had everything I needed within reach or small walk. All my favorite restaurants and activities. Train station being so close helped me get to and from other parts of Italy seamlessly. Absolute perfection.

Fantastic stay at Lucia’s

Very large spacious apartment. Big bedroom with a real and comfortable king sized bed. Large salone as well. Plus a fully equipped kitchen and even washing machine and dishwasher. Was there with my husband for a working vacation. Lucia arranged for us each to have a writing table. Very quiet but right in the center of town. Beautiful wood beamed ceilings and excellent lighting in apt. 5 min walk to the Duomo, train station, and mercato centrale— all in different directions. Ponte Vecchio a 10 min walk. Lucia and her husband were very welcomingd. It was totally great!!!And very clean!!And great view of dome of medici chapel.

Why they chose this property

The San Lorenzo neighborhood is one of the most characteristic of Florence. I chose it 7 years ago when I started managing Principio Apartment (vrbo 896240) of which you can read the over 100 5 star reviews.
Regina and Principio apartment are located in the same building, in Via dell'Alloro.

I also chose this neighborhood because it's a 10 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station (the main station in downtown Florence) to facilitate the arrival of the guests who reach Florence by train.

To reach Regina Apartment from the station, the easiest way is from the Underpassage you find under the station (use the escalator you find near the central exit of the station and then take left - you'll find the underpassage). Follow the underpassage to the end and you will find yourself in Via Panzani, from there you will reach Regina and Principio Apartments in a few minutes.

One of the attractions of this neighborhood is the Central Market. On the ground floor
