About this property

Heated Inground Pool & Spa Fun Family Reunion Holiday

I just finished building a dream vacation home in 2018. I installed a new heated in ground 16' x 32' pool with 9' spa. This will have a few different water features. One being a waterfall spill over. The other being deck jets that shoot a stream of water 5' into the air. Everyone goes to the Cape for the beach. I'm located 1 mile away from Seagull Beach. But when you come home there is a place for kids to go and hang out for a while. So you can just relax. The cabana that is situated behind the pool in the back yard has an arcade style video game. This game has over 1100 games. The cabana has an 8' pool table that will keep them busy. There will be a LGTV 55" flat screen TV with plenty of seating. This house is huge it sleeps 16 with a bunk room that sleeps 8 kids comfortably. 4 king bedrooms and a loft that can be a king or 2 singles. The living room has seating for 10 people on the most lovely, comfortable sectional couch ever ITS TO DIE FOR. The house is alarmed with video surveillance system. It has been freshly painted inside from ceiling to floor and all the walls, doors and trim in between. We worked hard to open up the floor plan. So it will maximize family interaction. The outside deck is so awesome it has a large table and chairs for 10 and also a kids table with 4 chairs for some more outdoor dining.

We loved the property. The back yard and pool were amazing. Our dog was able to hang in the yard with us secure with the completely fenced in back yard. Mini golf, restaurants and shopping were a few minutes away. Chris was very responsive. Overall, it was a great week and hope to return again.

The pool house made this trip for us! We had a lot of rain, so it was the best place to hang out! So many beds for everyone to be comfortable! The beach was not in walking distance for us, but affordable enough to have a day pass that allows you to access five beaches in the area. Good times, good memories! Chris was ever responsive.

Great place for large family vacation

Awesome outdoor Oasis!

This was a family vacation to the Cape. The house is located within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Our favorite part was the heated outdoor pool and spa, and the pool house with a pool table and video game table. The house was very clean and comfortable. Seagull beach was close by. It is one of our favorite beaches on the Cape!

Perfect for large groups especially families with teens

Loved the pool and the cabana. Teens had the best time playing pool and swimming. The fire pit was a huge hit and the gorgeous fire table by the pool was the best surprise. We felt like we were at a fancy resort! Chris was a great host and very quick to respond to any questions. Would love to return.

Yearly family vacation

The property was exactly as shown. This was our first year at this residence. We had a total of 11. There was ample space for everyone to enjoy time together. Also the layout gave each part of the family space for themselves if they wanted. The neighborhood was very quiet and nice for walking . The backyard was used the most awesome pool and cabana.

Kitchen inadequate but functional Dining area too small. Eating on the patio fun and easy. Pool was a BIG hit. Loved by everyone . Outside seating inviting. Bedrooms more than adequate. A rainy Memorial stay, but still a great stay

Chris was an excellent host, he must have a background in hospitality. The property was spot on from the website, very simple straight forward entry instructions. He even ordered pool sticks for the pool table during my stay to ensure a positive experience. Everything from grill seasonings and utensils to top notch cleanliness to having a bag of ice in the refrigerator. Chris was always quick to respond to any questions before, during and after, so Chris it was a pleasure. Thank you

Fantastic property, would absolutely rent again. Chris, the owner, was extremely patient as we had to change our dates and had some issues with the VRBO app that was out of his control. Nonetheless he made sure everything went smoothly. Hoise sits on a large piece of oroperty, beautiful pool, great additional items available as well. House was well spread out, great for a large family. Chris was accommodating for an extra guest and our dog. No problems the entire week. The price was more than fair and we felt it was a great selection. House is located in a quiet neighborhood, blocks from Route 28. Couldnt hear any road noise and you wouldnt know if you were in Yarmouth or Orleans based on the surrounding homes. Being in MidCape, we had so many more options to choose from. Family had a great time and we would absolutely sign up again for this property.

Cape cod beach vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The backyard and pool were spectacular. The beaches were perfect. Short walk to the coffee shop. Close to numerous activities for the kids. There were only 2 downsides. The kitchen is very small only one person at a time or 2 skinny people. And one of the king sized beds had a plastic cover over the mattress without a mattress pad on top. There was a sheet on top but you still noticed the plastic covering. That being said, neither of those things was a deal breaker and we are looking forward to going back next year!

Enjoyable Memorial Day weekend

Picked this house for a five night stay during our first trip to the cape. What I liked was the location of the house, close to restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. Neighborhood was quiet and surprisingly with a lot of wildlife around. The house itself was nice. Mostly updated with plenty of sleeping space, large fenced backyard, in ground pool, pool house and all the necessary amenities like towels, sheets, board games, even some non perishable food items, and paper plates, etc; great for a family gathering. The space in the kitchen was a bit small but it had a nice open concept. My one complaint was that after the first night there the pool heat stopped working. Maybe this would not be such a bad thing in the summer. However, the high during our stay was about 64 so we were looking forward to having a heated pool since the beach wasn't an option. Called the owner and sent a message and he was unable to get someone to fix it while we were there. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

I'm sorry that the heat in the pool did not work the way it was suppose to. In 2 years this was the only time it didn't work fully. There was something stuck in the filter. I explained I was on vacation myself and couldn't get there. I have changed the pool company's day to Saturday. If this ever happens again there is also a handy man I can call. Which I did offer to the husband and he said it was probably to cold out to use the pool. A low of 40 at night. But in the future all bases are covered. Chris the owner.

Great Vacation

Vacation was enjoyed by all. The house and Host were great. We had 5 children and six adults. The bunk room was perfect for all the kids ranging in age from 4-9 yrs. Plenary of room for all 6 adults. House was clean on arrival and fit all of us easily. The big screen TV and sitting area was plenty large enough for all of us to sit around and watch movie in the evening. The location to all the area beaches is vey good. 5 min drive to several locations. The pool is large with with a lot of lounges in like new condition. Clean and the kids spent a lot of time in the pool. Game room is a nice amenity. Kids played video game provided and we brought a Nintendo game for them to play on TV in the game room. The house is situated in a nice quite neighborhood. With a large rear yard for the kids to play games and catch a baseball. Has a fire pit we used one evening. Owner had a large supply of firewood and toys for kids to play with. All made for a memorable week the kids will remember.

Perfect vacation home

We spent July 1-8 at this house and we could not have been any happier. The location is central to so many things, making shopping, ice cream trips & beach days easy. The entry process was simple, door code worked great. The house was clean & smelled clean in all rooms. Plenty of space for our family, including our 2 kids (19 & 21) as well as their 3 friends (also 19 & 21). The bunk room was perfect for 3 19 year old boys, while the girls each had a beautiful room with a king bed. My mother had her own room as well. The master suite upstairs was very comfortable, my husband & I enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning. Living room was spacious & comfy. Plenty of towels & beach towels were provided. The inground pool, hot tub and water features worked perfectly. The pool house was a favorite spot for the 5 young adults. Pool table, large tv & video game provided lots of entertainment. Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. Bonus outdoor bar & fridge was a hit. Chris was very easy to work with while booking. We look forward to staying there in the future! Outstanding rental for families!

This house exceeded my expectations from the pictures. We were 10 people but never felt we were bumping into one another. The house was fully stocked down to paper products. Our 4 teenagers had a blast in the bunk bed dorm. Living room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom next to the kitchen is handicapped accessible with a shower bench, grab bars on the walls and hand held shower. Access to the house were a low step at front door and two low steps inside, perfect for seniors. The backyard was a jewel with plenty of room for activities. Kids took over the pool house and made that their hangout. Pool and hot tub were very clean. Bedrooms had room darkening curtains on them. Suggestons: It would be helpful to have mirrors either on the wall or back of doors in the bedrooms next to the living room. It would free up bathroom for showering. Also, toilet next to kitchen was continually running. May need attention. Thanks for a very memorable vacation home. It was close to many stores, restaurants and actibities.

Overall this is a LOVELY property. The backyard makes it and honestly it was really hard to find a larger property with a pool anywhere on the Cape. The heated pool was a godsend given the weather was super iffy while we were there. The beds were comfortable and the pool house was an added bonus for sending loud younger cousins to a safe space to watch tv without annoying the older teens. A few things to note - the bunk room bedroom does not have a door which for teen girls was an issue. Our biggest critique would be that the house could benefit from a guide book - either printed in a binder or a pdf provided ahead of time. All three adult couples have homes with pools and so are not novices at dealing with pools and spas/hot tubs but there were no instructions, so we ended up messaging the owner who was not super quick to respond. So unless you are using a property manager to field guest questions, have a detailed guide book and save yourself the headache of being annoyed by your guests :-) last, and this is just a general comment, and I say this with love, if it’s your first time doing a northern beach vacation and you are used to what you get house and amenity-wise on coastal NC or SC, these are NOT the same. Comparing New England beach houses/experience and OBX or Folley etc. beaches is “apples to oranges” as is the customer service. Take it for what it is and enjoy the difference. Had to remind folks of that while we were there-native New Englander living in South now :)

Great family vacation

Just returned from a very enjoyable,week at the Sand Dollar house. Our party of 8 adults and 3 children had lots of space to enjoy being together and doing separate activities. Houze was very well supplied with towels, sheets, kitchen equipment. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The club room was also wonderful. Hope to return at another time. Communication with Chris was very easy and prompt.

Spring getaway for the whole family

We really needed a getaway where we could enjoy time at home with friends and kids but go out and explore if we wanted to. This house fit the bill! The owner Chris was very flexible setting up the pool and hot tub for us. Even though the weather wasn’t so warm - the kids didn’t mind and jumped in the pool twice a day. There was a lot of space in the house for everyone and the extra cabana house was fun for the kids too. The beaches were close by and very quiet in April. We drove to a few hiking and walking trails and Hyannis was super close. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed. We would go back another time for our next getaway !
