Need improvements

Gas grill was rusty and falling apart! Porches had torn screens and dirty furniture. Main living room furniture stained and TV screen was small so you couldn’t see all the words. Kitchen and bathrooms re-modeled. Good inside flooring. We wouldn’t stay here again

Very nice place to stay

This home very nicely accommodated my family of 5 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. We had plenty of space to move around, the kitchen was well equipped, the yard was bigger than anticipated, the hot water never ran out (even with a load of clothes in the washing machine, dishwasher running, and showers). The owner was very responsive to my inquiries (first time renting on HomeAway) and made sure I had everything I needed . We had a great time. It was a casual 10 minute walk to the beach, and at least during the off season when we went, the neighborhood was quiet and friendly, including the tots park one block away .

Hickman Cottage

Our stay at Hickman Cottage was totally enjoyable! Everything about the house was perfect! It was so clean inside and out! We especially loved having 2 screened in porches, one in the front and one in the back. And our pups loved having the fenced in back yard!

A comfy cottage at the beach.

Our first time here. The owner is quite nice and very responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and there is nothing better than having a cup of coffee on the back porch. Both bathrooms are being updated. New stove, dishwasher and w/d. This shows me the owner is committed to keeping the property in good condition. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great rental and we would stay there again. We loved having our dogs with us and relaxing on the screened in porch while they could enjoy the fenced in yard. The house was very well stocked with all necessary household items and was comfortable and clean.

Perfect house and location!

We were happy to find that the house was the perfect blend of classic cottage style and modern amenities. Comfortable living space, robust internet, dog friendly, and in a very quiet neighborhood. Our interactions with Dave were ideal and everything went very smoothly. We highly recommend this property and look forward to renting again in the near future.

Wonderful getaway vacation house!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this charming, cozy South Rehoboth Beach house! All the amenities of home and everything in pristine condition. Convenient walking distance to park, boardwalk, town, and restaurants. Gracious and accommodating host, would highly recommend!

A Marathon weekend

My husband and I ran the Rehoboth Beach Marathon this year for the third time. Previously, we have stayed in a hotel with our kids, dog and extended family but decided to rent a home this year. What a great decision! This house was close to town and in a lovely neighborhood. The fenced in yard was perfect for the kids to take the dog out, and everything was clean and neat. There was a lot of room in the bedrooms, and the living space fit everyone comfortably. We will definitely be back!

We really loved this hous...

We really loved this house! It was very clean and pretty. Lovely fenced yard, plus two big screened porches. Beautiful neighborhood - great for peaceful walks. Three Children's' playgrounds a few blocks away (in the park and across the bridge at elementary/Jr. High school).
