About the host

I am a native Michigander, but spent college (plus 10 years after) living in Scottsdale, Arizona. Moved back to Michigan when my husband and I started a family. We live in metro Detroit, but love spending time in Cheboygan at the cabin.

Why they chose this property

I grew up visiting the Cheboygan area, and consider it one of the most special places on earth. It's beautiful during all seasons, and the laid back way of life is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you want water activities, winter sports, woods, trails, hunting, or back roads you've got it all in Northern Michigan.

What makes this property unique

It is a true traditional log cabin. A father, many, many years ago moved the log cabin from its original home in Mackinaw to Cheboygan for his daughter to be able to enjoy the woods and be near Mullett Lake.
