Welcome to our peaceful 5 bed, 5 bath home in the trees with private beach access just steps away from the front door. After a long day by the water enjoy a beautiful nature scene while you soak in the hot tub on the back deck. Play a game of pool, air-hockey, or ping-pong in the decked out basement. Turn on a movie or experince the big game on the theatre. Send the kids to the loft to play X-box while you grab a refreshment from the bar and play a game of poker at the card table. Time to play!

This home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood right across the street from Lake Michigan. The beach is just a short walk from your front door. New Buffalo and everything it has to offer is just a short 10 minute drive away.

Garden Getaway Review

We had a fantastic stay at the Garden Getaway House in New Buffalo, Michigan! The home is absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and comfortably accommodated our entire family. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy their time.One of our favorite features was the screened-in porch, perfect for peaceful morning coffee. In the evenings, we gathered on the deck and patio for before-dinner drinks and appetizers—such a great setup for spending quality time together.The game and movie room was a huge hit with both the adults and the kids (ages 11 to 16). We all enjoyed the space to unwind and have fun after days out exploring. The home is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, just a short walk to the beach and the weekend farmers market. The beach was clean and the water was the perfect temperature—ideal for swimming and soaking up the sun.A highlight of our trip was taking the train into Chicago for a Cubs game. The station was easy to get to from the house, and the train ride made for a fun and stress-free day trip.A special shoutout to the property manager, Jamie Fry, who was outstanding. She kept us well-informed on check-in and check-out procedures, and when we had a minor issue with the thermostat, it was addressed quickly and professionally.We highly recommend the Garden Getaway House for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed home base in New Buffalo. We’d definitely love to return!
