A remodeled 1970's home with all the comforts needed for relaxing in the harsh winters & balmy summers. Step out on the back patio to be refreshed in the hot tub & watch the amazing sunsets here at Paradise Suites.

We got lucky with these guests! They were wonderful & became fast friends. They were fun to talk to, always answered messages, helped out when we had a water problem in the middle of the night. Didn't complain about the freezing weather & actually plan to go hunting w/us in September!

Our 3 ½ acres of lightly wooded Paradise is 7 minutes from the famous Homer Spit. There you will find exquisite shopping from local artistry, fine jewelry, native arts & crafts to brand name raincoats, socks & beanies. To tempt your palate are a variety of fresh catch restaurants, coffee houses, home churned ice crème, or just a crepe to satisfy your sweet tooth. There are places to pitch your tent, watch a movie, fish the pond, or just walk & enjoy the whole scene on the Spit.
In Homer City itself you can find beauty shops for a trim or to freshen up your nails. Grocery stores to stock your fridge & cooler. Churches, the Pratt Museum, charters for live Bear viewing, The Kachemak Bay State Park with hiking trails for the experienced to the novice. Of course, the Charter Boats!! Come fish for your own Salmon, your own huge, delicious Halibut, black cod… the list is long, the experience is once in a lifetime.

Paradise Suites is located on the bluff side of the mountain overlooking Cook Inlet in Homer, Alaska. We offer accommodations for the angler, the hunter, the birdwatcher, or just a special getaway vacation weekend. Homer Alaska is the Halibut fishing capital of the world & also known as the city of Peonies.
We are home to several families of bald eagles. The sight of them soaring in the air currents is breathtaking.

We have an experienced Chef in house here at Paradise Suites, we call him “The Yeti.”
I call him John Garvey. If you do not want to go downtown for an expensive breakfast or dinner, the Yeti will present you with a table guaranteed to please. John will come to your kitchen rental, prepare & serve your menu.
