Fantastic Beach Vacation!

Our family wanted a quick trip to the beach before our kids go back to school and this place was perfect! Super cute home and decor, very relaxing and comfortable. Tons of different sitting areas and places to relax and still have a few of the beach, which was within easy walking distance! 10/10 highly recommend!

Nice for a quick get away

A few things were broken upon our arrival and not being able to set the AC below 76 degrees had us burning up at night. Otherwise, it was a nice trip and property owners are extremely responsive. We're just used to staying beachfront so I think that's why the very short drive was a bummer but it is very close.

Hi Amber, thank you for your honest feedback! We're glad to hear you still had a nice trip overall and that you found us responsive — we truly appreciate that. We're sorry to hear about the broken items and the AC limitation; we understand how important comfort is, especially during warmer nights. We’ll definitely look into these concerns to make improvements. While it’s not directly beachfront, we're happy the quick drive to the beach was still convenient. We'd love the chance to host you again and provide an even better experience!

Home away from home!

We stayed at this beach house for about 5 weeks in July while I was receiving cancer treatment at UTMB, and it was truly a blessing to have such a comfortable place during that time. The owners are wonderful—kind, helpful, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was stocked with all the essentials, which made our extended stay so much easier. The only small challenge was the A/C instructions, which asked that it be kept at 76. Honestly, it didn’t bother me since I usually wear a sweater, but my husband picked up a couple of fans for the bedroom just to keep it extra cool at night. It worked out just fine, and we were very comfortable.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return again. Highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking for a welcoming and well-cared-for place by the beach!

Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re truly honored that our beach house could provide you with comfort during such an important time. It means a lot to hear that you felt at home and well taken care of. We also appreciate your note about the A/C instructions, and we’ll keep that feedback in mind to help future guests feel as comfortable as possible. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back whenever you return. Wishing you and your husband all the very best!

The location of this rental home is truly top notch—just steps from the beach access, which made it easy and convenient for our family to enjoy the gulf throughout our stay. The proximity to the beach was, without a doubt, the best part of this rental. However, there were a few serious concerns that affected our overall experience and need immediate attention:Pest issue – We encountered cockroaches inside the home and had to kill several each morning, which was extremely unsettling.Air conditioning problems – The A/C could not be set below 76 degrees, but the rental company failed to inform us prior to our arrival. This lack of transparency was frustrating, especially given the heat.Cleanliness – The home did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The slipcovers and rugs were visibly dirty, which made the space feel poorly maintained. We had high hopes for this stay, especially given the price and ideal location. Unfortunately, these issues took away from the comfort we expected. With some attention and transparency from the rental company, this could be a great vacation home.

Hello Melissa, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations. While we’re glad the location was a highlight for your family, we understand how issues with cleanliness, pests, and the air conditioning setting impacted your comfort—and that’s not the experience we want for our guests. Your concerns are absolutely valid. We’re actively addressing the pest issue with professional treatment, reviewing our cleaning procedures with the housekeeping team, and updating our property information to ensure full transparency around things like A/C settings going forward. We appreciate you pointing these out, and your note about the home’s potential is not lost on us. Your experience will help us improve, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future.
