This memorable cottage is the perfect home base for your trip to Northern Michigan. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this newly built (2023) log house offers a cozy retreat for guests. With 3 bedrooms, including a king bed and 2 bunk beds (full/xl and twin/xl) there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and recharge. The cottage features modern amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, heating and A/C ensuring a comfortable stay. Full kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, coffee-maker, tea-pot, dishwasher, cups, plates, silverware. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryer for your convenience. Enjoy a peaceful evening on the porch with magnificent view of lake Huron, walk on the beach for miles, or explore local trails and several nature preserves, bring your own kayak or mountain bike - opportunities are endless.

We loved the property! The cottage was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Steps away from lake Huron. Very private and beautiful setting. We Enjoyed the beach, kayak and the campfires. Our family and dogs loved it!! We hope to come back for a longer stay!

We did nothing apart from drive to Meijer once. Other than that, we saw no reason to leave the property. We saw all of two people during our stay. Hosts were responsive. So peaceful!

We had an amazing weekend. The house was immaculate; clean and tidy. The location is amazing right on Thunder Bay. Nightly fires sitting by the beach was awesome! Kitchen was well equipped and propane grill made dinners easy and convenient. I would highly recommend this property.

My family of 5 had a comfortable stay here. The house was clean and quiet. It was easy to find and access, thanks to the hosts' instructions. We enjoyed the easy access to the water and looking for the perfect rocks.

The cabin is beautiful and amazingly clean. The beds were comfortable. I have two dachshunds. They enjoyed the shoreline and waves. Great weather. Lake Huron was beautiful and the sound of the waves very peaceful. The host was great. He responded to my messages very quickly. We truly enjoyed our peaceful and relaxing time and I would recommend this property to anyone.

We had a perfect stay on Lake Huron at Marina’s Cabin! The cabin is very clean. Everything you need for a relaxing week on the beach is available. Games, puzzles, chairs, a kayak for exploring, etc. The beach is beautiful and clean, my kids spent the entire week rock hunting and swimming! We hope to be back next summer. 10/10 stay!

Absolutely love this place and everything about it. This is our second time staying here and am already looking forward towards next year. Very spacious, beautiful home with a very private setting. Has the best water front! The water was so calm we were even able to enjoy the canoe. Love that it is close to town and restaurants. Absolutely no complaints!

Everything about Marina’s Lake Cabin far exceeded our expectations! The modern open concept layout, nice sized rooms, cathedral ceilings and everything on one floor made it feel very spacious. Everything was relatively new and clean and good quality. The primary bedroom with its en-suite made the difference for our family needs. Having two bathrooms was a real plus. The softened water and RO for drinking water was helpful. The propane grill and tools worked great each night for dinner. Outside was private enough, not right next to other cabins, and the beach was only a few steps out the front door. We especially loved walking along the beach, finding many Petosky stones, watching the evening sunsets, paddling the kayak along the shore, and making s’mores in the fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring the Alpena area and taking advantage of the beach and the grounds. Our hosts Marina and Sergey were helpful and timely with all their communications and made our stay a wonderful experience! Thanks!

We had an amazing stay here! The area was picturesque and the cabin had all of the amenities we needed. We had the best time with our toddler walking up and down the beach hunting rocks, listening to the waves in the morning while drinking coffee on the porch, and walking the nearby nature trails. The cabin is the perfect place for a family to stay and have a fun, relaxing getaway in pure Michigan.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful week at Marina’s Lake Cabin! The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. It was a good home base for our treks to area hiking trails and lighthouses. We enjoyed the kayak, fire pit, and collecting rocks on beach. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
