Relax at this quintessential La Jolla Beach Cottage. Enjoy daytime adventure and quiet nights. Nestled in La Jolla, our stand-alone cottage is centrally located in coastal San Diego. A short two-block walk to the beach, stores, and restaurants means you can enjoy yourselves without having to drive! Just a few miles from the freeway to get anywhere you want to go in San Diego. Enjoy your very own Beach Cottage experience! Your booking supports Luckydog Sanctuary, a safe haven for at-risk animals!



The Space:

Enjoy indoor-outdoor living with gas grill and patio furniture for outdoor dining and relaxing. Play games in the large living room. Grab the boogie boards and beach toys and have a blast at the beach down the street.



Guest Access:

The areas pictured are included for your enjoyment. Please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet time is 10PM until 10AM. Please don't be in the yard or patio areas after 10pm.



There are 2 steps to get in the front door and no steps in the home. The back patio is about 5 steps down.

✌️We offer our rentals only to guests who'll keep our neighborhood clean and peaceful. Identity verification is required. While this is a very quiet neighborhood, generally, expect normal suburban neighborhood noise.



We are changing up the outdoor dining, lounging and laundry area- so current pictures do not reflect what the outdoor space will like after August 2025. We're aiming for a more cute, cozy, and convenient space for outdoor dining/relaxing.



🧻To start your stay, you'll receive a free 2-10 day supply of essentials like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.



🌿 Pet & wildlife-friendly! We abstain from using harsh toxins that will harm pets or wildlife. If a bit of hair or a surprise visit from a four, six, or eight-legged friend might ruin your trip, this might not be the right fit. By booking, you acknowledge that the presence of tiny locals is part of the experience—not a cleanliness issue and not grounds for contacting Airbnb, requesting refunds or leaving less-than-5-star reviews.





⏰ Same-day bookings may require later check-in for last-minute cleaning.



🐕 Well-trained, friendly pets are welcome. Pet rent is $25/night/per pet (minimum $75, 2 small dogs can stay for the price of 1). Akitas, Cane Corsos, Chows, Dogo Argentinos, Pit Bulls, Presa Canario (canary dog), Rottweilers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and any wild canine or hybrid thereof. No animals other than domestic dogs and cat approved by Host are allowed on Property.



🎉Big group? Book up to four of our adjacent cottages for up to 24 guests!

🌊 Provided beach gear include chairs, towels, and boogie board(s). If desired, snorkel gear may be be rented at nearby shops.



❄️A/C is available for when indoor and outdoor temps exceed 75 degrees Farenheit.

**Try to reserve these items at least 3 days in advance so we can order them if needed. We cannot guarantee the availabiity of these items for last-minute bookings, but we typically have all of these available. We can connect you with a baby-gear rental company if you need a high chair and other baby gear.



❗We deeply discount weekday rates, expecting to rent full weekends at a premium rate. So, if you take half a weekend, one weekday will be charged at the weekend rate unless it's a same-day booking, of course. If you don't got the bucks, pls message us for a compromise.



Promotion explanations: deals like "30% off 3rd night" or "60% off 4th night" are instead a 10%/15% discount on a 3 or 4-night stay resulting in approx 30%/60% off the average nightly rate for the 3rd/4th night.
