This is our second stay at Hometown Haven. We come back for the cozy vibes, clean space, and easy access to everything that brings us to Ames. The hosts are great at making the space ready for guests.
We had a wonderful ladies weekend, 4 college friends for 32 years gathered in Ames for the weekend. The house had all the essentials for two nights of playing games, snacking, catching up and laughter. Comfy beds, clean surroundings and beautifully styled.

Thank you, Mary, for your kind words! That sounds like a great weekend filled with memories. Please think of us next time you stay in Ames! Have a great rest of your day.
The checking process was so easy and the house was way nicer than expected. The location was a little far from where we wanted to be located but overall a very nice house!
Details… great comfortable beds especially having a king in the master. Great kitchen and outdoor area. We used the fire pit but couldn’t get the grill going. There is no dining table for family gatherings but it didn’t bother us. Host was very quick to respond to us. Perfect location and walkable to tdowntown/mainstreet

Thanks so much for staying with us Leighann. We have since replaced the grill so next time you come stay, it will be ready for some good eats!
Charming place with very comfortable beds, nice seating areas, and an adequately stocked kitchen. We also appreciated the off-street parking. Perfect place to stay while visiting our ISU student. We’ll be back!
