Great place to stay. Downstairs was the perfect place for the family to visit. Ping pong table was a hit, as well as the decks of cards. I would definitely stay there again.

Host was very easy to correspond with and help out - he even came and shoveled the driveway on which we had 4 vehicles. We had the right amount of room as there was 14 of us and sleeping arrangements worked out great for us. He also had lots of games, a ping pong table, and air hockey which kept all of us busy.

This house is located in a nice neighborhood. Great accommodation for our group. Comfortable and relaxing outdoor space. The kitchen and dining area was small but functional. Enough toiletries, blankets, and towels available for use.

Perfect for friends weekend!

We stayed as a group during our friends wedding. It was a perfect place for our group. Clean, easy check-in. The host was responsive to any emails I sent. In a nice neighborhood, we were able to go on lots of walks. And close to restaurants and bars!

Our family stayed here for a family reunion. The house was very comfortable in size and temperature control (It was a hot, humid weekend.) Check-in was easy. The kids enjoyed the air hockey table and the playground out the back. We all enjoyed the patio complete with the flower boxes. The host was readily available. I would stay here again and would recommend this to anyone who needs a house to accommodate a group of 10 or so.

The house was in an extremely quiet neighborhood, close to grocery stores and campus. It was just me, so I had more bedrooms than I needed, and the master bedroom bed was super comfortable. Easy check in and easy check out!

Sons graduation

Due to a last minute change Heath allowed us to have my son’s college graduation party at this house in the afternoon. It worked perfect to stay at and accommodated us perfectly.

Perfect for a family get together!

We rented this house as a family get together for my son’s birthday. Worked out perfectly. The level just below the kitchen area as an air hockey machine which the kids loved and was a great area for all of us to gather and watch him open presents. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone.

House is a lot smaller and older than the photos show.

1) The living room and the kitchen are a lot smaller than the photos show. They can accommodate a group of 6, but not larger than that. Definitely not 12. Plus, the appliances are outdated.2) The layout of the house isn’t easy to use, and 4 bedrooms have to share 1 bathroom! One bathroom is in the master suite, and another one is in the basement (far from bedrooms). Therefore practically 4 bedrooms have to share one bathroom.3) The bedroom in the basement isn’t really usable as a water drain is exposed right next to the bed.4) Some bedroom windows don’t have curtains. There weren’t enough Kleenex and toilet paper, or even a hairdryer. But the owner responded to our request quickly.

We stayed here for Iowa State’s Homecoming weekend and it was perfect for our group of 8 adults! The house was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, and there were multiple TVs so everyone could watch different games at once. The backyard was a huge plus — we played beer pong and tossed a football around, which made for a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Great water pressure in all the showers, and overall the house was very well maintained. Definitely recommend for families or groups looking for a comfortable and entertaining stay in Ames!
