The host, Gigi, is a gem. She is very personable and communicative. The property is as described, yet a bit dated and a bit darker than the pictures portray. When in Hawaii you expect some bugs but we encountered quite a few more sugar ants than any of our 4 previous visits to Hawaii. The bathrooms were not as clean as we expected, thus the lower rating for cleanliness. We likely won't stay in Princeville again but I would not hesitate to rent another property from Gigi if the opportunity occurs.

Aloha, and thank you for staying with us at our Princeville home.
We're thrilled. You had a nice time with your family.
We definitely tried to portray the exact home as it sit's ... with the pictures and same as when people arrive.
The ants the tiny little sugar ants are always here and it's springtime so there's a lot of flowers blooming and yes they come in and out because they're so tiny.
We do have ample amounts of natural products under the sink to treat them.
Want treated correctly The ants take the food back to the nest. And wipes out the colony. We really would have helped you out if you had mentioned that And been there in a second to help you with that.
Thanks for noting that.We will take care of it today.
I wanted to apologize if you think the bathrooms weren't clean But the white tiles and the white tub get stained from the red dirt on our island of Kauai.
Unfortunately that will never come out and unfortunately we do not have the funds right now to pay for new bathrooms.
We invite you back again and wish you safe travels.
