This property should definitely come with a warning. We had to contact the host to get the address and entry codes about 3 days before our stay. At that time we were informed it was a duplex. The directions to the house were ok but the street signs are so dirty they are hard to read. The house was located down a very narrow poorly maintained road. It was a tight fit with a full sized pickup and 15ft boat. Parking was good for two pickups a boat trailer and a sprinter van. The yard is not fully fenced. It was fenced on three sides. This is our fault for not verifying. With 6 dogs in our group we were really wanting a fully fenced yard. We were happy the host was willing to accommodate us. We agreed to pay an additional 100 for the night. We were a bit disappointed the host didn’t mention the fence situation. Once again we failed to verify so that’s on us. The house was clean and well maintained. The strangest thing was the bedrooms. They each had their own coded number pad door lock. This turned into a problem at 3am. We got locked out of the bedroom with two dogs and our phones locked inside. I woke my mom to get the code only to find out the code didn’t work. I ended up calling the host at 3am to get a code that worked. I can only imagine what would happen if there was a child locked in. This appears to be a very big safety risk! There were trains horns every 40min from 8pm-1am. Starting again at 6am. Close enough to rumble the house. No one got any sleep.
