Less than 10 minute drive to our drive-on beach, rental includes beach amenities: chairs, cooler, umbrella, and bags of ice in the chest freezer ready to go. We are also providing two surfboards and a kayak!

When you return, you’ll enjoy a beautiful and quiet country setting. Room for your pets, and even your friends with their RV or camper. Bring your boat, this half acre fenced yard offers fantastic additional parking. Enjoy the bike trail that’s adjacent to the property. There’s a frisbee golf course connected to the trail just a quarter mile away.

The kitchen was fully supplied with pots, pans and cleaning supplies. The house was clean with extra clean sheets and towels. We had plenty of room for family to gather for a visit. The host was easy to contact and quick to respond. This area was quiet and serene.
The host decorated the gate and fence for Christmas.

I wish I could give Richard 10 stars. This was by far the BEST experience I’ve ever had with staying at a rental property. From beyond check in to check out, Richard was on top of everything and took care of us more than he should’ve. No complaints whatsoever. When it comes to professionalism and customer service Richard not only raised the bar, he is the bar. Without a doubt, I know wherever I stay for my future vacations will not compare to my time in New Smyrna. Thanks again for everything Richard, best of luck/blessings to you and yours. If you’re thinking about booking this property, do yourself a favor and just do it.

We stayed here while vacationing in the area. It was a nice central spot between St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral area. Home was clean, plenty of towels including beach towels and beds were pretty comfortable. Also had beach chairs and beach blanket to use. Was fairly quiet and had a nice screened in porch to sit on.

Cozy Cottage

Stayed two weeks for Daytona bike week. Great place and location for what we had planned. Close to beaches,stores,restaurants. Host was very accommodating.

We loved our 2 week stay at the cottage! Very clean, comfortable and quiet. It surpassed our expectations! Close to everything but away from the March Break crowds. The Host was very welcoming. We enjoyed the screened in porch and our dog loved the fenced in backyard. We look forward to coming back!

I really enjoyed my stay! It was the cutest little home. It had everything I needed. The hosts were very responsive and had things I had forgotten (a cooler). The home was clean. The air conditioning worked (which was very much appreciated since it was ridiculously hot and humid). I didn’t get to enjoy the screened in porch due to the heat & humidity (I’m not built for that lol) but it looked lovely and I wish I could have enjoyed it. If I ever have a need to come back to the area I would definitely book again. It was quiet and comfortable and felt homey.

Furniture was dusty,not enough hand towels,just four bath towels, no shampoo,body wash, or hand soap,bathroom floor slanted downwards,we bought hairdryer and body wash,shampoo after we got there ,ac vents were dirty,at night there was some kind of animal in the attic

Not cleaned properly, but otherwise okay

Upon arrival, we found the bathroom not cleaned & dirty towels hanging. As we investigated further, we found the kitchen counter not cleaned, either. Additionally, there were not enough clean bath towels or bathmat in the bathroom for our family (we had informed the host prior to arriving how many of us there were). We had to clean it ourselves. We got in touch with the host, and he suggested that we use the beach towels for an extra bath towel and bathmat, which means we didn't have the beach towels to use at the beach. Also, areas of the house smelled of "wet dog" (which we are assuming was from the previous renters), and had to buy air spray to try to get rid of the smell while there. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, and the property was as described in the listing.

Why they chose this property

Although just about anything you could need is within easy reach, this is a quiet country setting. We love all the wildlife; birds, deer, rabbits, owls, you name it! The turkeys are out in the backyard almost every morning!

What makes this property unique

We enjoy a country setting, while being less than 10 minutes to the beach! We also enjoy easy access to I-95 and all the parks that are nearby. The restaurants in this town are to die for! We know many of the owners and we’re happy to make an introduction.
