Jeff’s home in this one-of-kind hillside condo community is a true gem. The photos pulled us in and the reality delivered even more. You will not find a view that matches this one anywhere in Palm Springs. But the real reason we fell in love with the home was both Jeff, a consummate host, and the fact that we immediately felt comfortable there. It’s a home and a beautiful vacation getaway combined. It’s rare and we would love to return in the future.
Ideally located on a private road, this property offers breathtaking views and easy access to downtown Palm Springs and nearby hiking trails. The spacious accommodations feature elegant furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, well-appointed bathrooms and bedrooms, an in-unit washer and dryer, and balcony access from both the master bedroom and dining area. The host is exceptional!
On several of our previous year visits to Palm Springs, my wife and I always admired the Rimcrest complex nestled on the hillside of the Araby Cove area mentioning to each other “wouldn’t it be fantastic to stay there on our next visit?” … that “next visit” happened this February and to say that our stay was “fantastic” would be an understatement! We enjoyed and truly relaxed in a property which was perfectly and beautifully furnished (exactly as portrayed in the photos which accompanied the listing) and which offered every essential (and beyond) amenity which we could have imagined. Palm Springs architecture at its finest, a residence very tastefully furnished/outfitted/supplied, indoor and outdoor living spaces, proximity to several pools/hot tubs, an owner who is very proud of his property and very responsive to his tenants certainly made our stay a wonderful experience. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the view … you get to enjoy your days/evenings in downtown PS and then to retire to your vacation home and take in the sights of everything from San Gorgornio Mountain and Desert Hot Springs to (nearly) the Salton Sea and everything in between - a viewing treat either day or night! We cannot recommend this property highly enough and are very appreciative of the hospitality extended by Jeff, the property owner who was a pleasure to meet and who went way “above and beyond” to insure that we had a great time! Thanks again Jeff!

I am absolutely thrilled that you enjoyed the home and your most recent visit to Palm Springs.
You both were the epitome of guests and it was obvious that you cared for the home as though it were your own.
It was such a pleasure meeting the two of you and I sincerely hope that you come visit again soon!
About the host
Hosted by Jeff Lewis
Southern California native, I live 75% in coastal Orange County and 25% here in Palm Springs. The Rimcrest community is a very special place in the desert and I enjoy being able to share my home with others.
Why they chose this property
Mid-century architecture combined with some of the most amazing views in all of Coachella Valley. Rimcrest is located on the hillside just below the prestigious Southridge neighborhood.
What makes this property unique
The home has been tastefully updated and modernized while keeping the mid-century "feeling". A mixture of period and modern furniture throughout. Of the 50+ condominium units at Rimcrest, this is one of just 5 or 6 that are completely free-standing and do not share a wall with other units.
