Close to Harvard, MIT, Tufts, Sullivan Square MBTA and Assembly Square Marketplace. You will have easy access to public transportation or you can drive your own car. Off-street parking for your car in our driveway! This is a great location for quick access to the sites of Boston (i.e., Fanueil Hall, the Aquarium, Science Museum, USS Constitution. Great for couples, business travelers, or families.

Great stay. Tim is an excellent, responsive host. The apartment is a second-floor walkup, exactly as described. The pictures are accurate and if anything, the apartment is larger than expected. The location was perfect for our needs. Transit, Assembly Square, and the local Stop &Shop are within 10-15 minutes on foot, and the availability of off-street parking is a great find for this neighborhood. The apartment has 1.5 baths, making it easier for larger groups. The kitchen is complete, but if you're big into cooking, you may find the small counter space and lack of a dishwasher limiting. We'll definately stay again.

Great location and budget friendly!

Very convenient to Boston and all it has to offer. It was nice to have 3 bedrooms for a family with teenagers. And bonus to have off street parking for our car!

Great location

Stayed here for a week to enjoy Boston and the area. Apt was perfect for a family of 4, even up to 6 or 8. Location was amazing, 20 minute drive to downtown Boston any time of day, and within walking distance of a drug store, brewery, and a few restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay! It was just the right size for all 6 of us. It was close to everything but quiet at night. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean and cozy. We would stay there again if we came back to the area!

I've worked at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics for almost 30 years, managing the development and installation of telescopes and related equipment around the world. My current project takes me to the Greenland Ice Sheet as we get a 12m radio telescope operating in the Arctic! The objective? To image a black hole! My picture shows off one my VIP guests who visited the telescope this past year!
My wife and I bought this home several years ago, after the kids moved out and we decided to move back to the city. After working hard to renovate this 3-family, we started renting the second floor to people like us who need short term rentals and would rather not stay in a hotel.

Why they chose this property

This property is conveniently located just a minute off of I-93 and includes parking spaces. Downtown Boston is within a 10-12 minute drive or you can be headed North to the mountains very easily. Public transportation is all around; bus stops are one street over, the MBTA is less than an 18 minute walk away. Safe! This is a working class, family friendly, safe, area that is just recently getting more college students and Boston commuters. There is a lot of renovation going on in the area due to the escalating home values (check for yourself). Somerville is one of the hottest real estate markets in the US.
