About this property

Live Like A Local On The Beach In The Heart Of Pass-a-Grille In Two Br Condo.

Hush. Let’s keep the best kept secret in Florida. Quaint old time community complete with unique shopping and dining. Heal your soul with the beauty of nature. Our building's balcony provides the best vantage point for sunset beauty. Spend days on the beach just outside your door, with help from our closet full of beach gear for the whole family. Set up chairs and umbrellas and walk along the beach every day. Take the ferry to Shell Key Wildlife Preserve. Walk about two minutes up the street and relax at the pier for fishing and pelican watching. This part of St Pete's Beach makes this a year round destination thanks to Gulf of Mexico breezes and lower precipitation. Trolley system or free taxi outside your door will transport you up and down the gulf front beaches, so you really don't even need a car, or "Uber it" to nearby attractions. Just about 10-15 minutes from downtown St. Pete and right over the bridge in Tampa you will find Busch Gardens, Adventure Island Water Park, Dali Museum and Legend Field, home to NY Yankees spring training. And it is romantic.

Great location and had everything we needed except hand and shower soap. You might want to pack that. Host was excellent to work with and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!
We had a wonderful vacation! The host was quick to respond and very generous. Location of the condo is directly across from the beach, however it is connected to a restaurant so parking was a little tricky in the evening. But, I would still go back and stay there! Thank you for providing your place and allowing my family to enjoy a much needed vacation!

I am from Chicago so I love Florida and have visited many places over the years, from Jacksonville to Key West and Fort Lauderdale to Naples. When I decided to purchase a condo I looked in my favorite spot where I had been 25 years prior, Pass A Grille. It was as I remembered, quaint and low key. My daughter who is 12 has visited 4 times this past 2 years now and she too loves it.

Why they chose this property

Pass A Grille is a relaxing and quaint historical town at the end of St.Pete's Beach. This condominium complex was built at the beach in early 1950's, originally a motel. This unit has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen and a living room to eat, relax and watch television. Parking is available (a pass provided with rental) on the quiet, low traffic street that you cross to be right on the beach. You can walk the beach for miles and back again. Your beach needs are provided for in our beach closet where you will find chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, pails, shovels and water toys. The big crowded hotels and resorts are down the beach a mile or so, the first of which is the oldest and the pinkest, the historic Don CeSar built in 1928. A block away you can take a short boat ride to Shell Key Preserve, an island devoted to the preservation of the natural habitat. Pass A Grille is just perfect for a relaxing get away and the condo is as "on the beach" as you can get. Your dog (under 60lbs with current rabies and distemper vaccination records) is welcome too, in the condo as well as in the many businesses that allow dogs inside as you eat and shop. There is a trolley to take you up the beach if you need more action or call for a free ride taxi that will take you anywhere on the beach for nothing more than a tip. The neighbors who live here are friendly and helpful. This location is the perfect ground zero to explore (Bush Gardens, Dali Museum, shopping and boat rides) or stay put and relax (picnic, collect seashells, watch sunsets and read).

What makes this property unique

Being on the beach makes this is a place to go year round. Summers swelter in Florida but the beach offers relief with the constant ocean breeze and a dip in the waves. A sense of peace and nature surrounds you. Shop in the unique stores for art, clothing and one of a kind jewelry pieces. Many reasonably priced restaurants are within walking distance and all of them are small businesses. Take a four minute walk from one side of town with the ocean, to the other side where boats dock and fishing is common in the channel. Our beach closet holds the gear you need for every age to relax and play on the beach and if it rains, there are games, rain ponchos and a covered patio. The best view of the sunset is up on the second floor balcony where you can enjoy a beverage and soak in the beauty of life!
