This house is in a wonderful location. The sound of the waves helped soothe us to sleep. There is a lot of privacy here, as it's set back from the road.
This is a wonderful space! I watched migrating pelicans, sea lions, and the crashing waves with glorious sunsets from the living room and sitting outside in front of the living room. Yachats City proper is a short walk away with wonderful resturants and shops. For fish to take home and cook, go to Luna's. For interesting dinner items to thaw, go to the hardware store (yep, the hardware store). The Drift Inn is next door and supplies the food for the freezers. Walk along the Trail 804, let your dogs run on the Yachats River delta. This is a great place!
Perfect stay! Sitting and watching the waves crash from the living room was incredible. Clean, comfortable, able to walk everywhere. Can't wait to go back!

Jennica,
Thanks for your delightful 5 star review. I am glad that we could accommodate you for an extra night. Thanks for being a terrific guest, we hope to host you again in the future!
The location is outstanding! The ocean view was exciting and mesmerizing. Updated interior functions well. Yachats has many features including a farmers market with local artisans and produce. There is Easy access to the historic 804 trail, restaurants and retail. Very relaxed atmosphere. The updated single bathroom is rather narrow, lovely but would benefit from some additional elbow room.
Cute little home with an enormous view! Worth every cent and then some. Just book it, you won’t regret it!

Shelly,
Thank you, your review made me smile for sure! I am delighted to hear that you loved your stay. Thanks for the positive feedback, hope to hear from you again!
Is there an odd little bathroom? Yes. Are the bedrooms a bit dated? Yes. Will you care? No. You will be in the updated, comfortable front room watching the best wave show in town from the wall to wall windows. After dark, a shore light lets you continue to enjoy them. Bring your slippers and a bottle of wine, but if you somehow tire of watching the waves, it’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants.

Suzanne,
Loved your review! I wasn't sure what you meant by the bedrooms being "dated" as we just purchased new alternative down comforters and duvet covers... But you are quite right about everything else! Fantsea is a spectacular place to enjoy close wave action right from the living room windows. Glad that you enjoyed your visit and we hope to her from you again!
outstanding waterfront property. we were right on top of the waves which broke against the black balsalt rock outcroppings. No beach but that was fine. Just up the street was 6 miles of open beach. on day 3 we were fortunate to experience we will forget. We had a front row seat to 35mph winds and swells that were 10 to 12 feet. Wild weather and ocean. as my wife said "we have our own Spouting Horn". we stayed warm and dry in the house. everything was fine except for figuring out the tv. we did not have any instructions except "don't change any of the settings".......well the setting was "no signal". 3 different controllers and no instructions on which to use to make the TV pick up a channel. we had brought our laptop so we used that to connect to our shows and channels. Overall it was great and we will definitely return again.
