Enjoy the convenience of being within easy walking distance to everything Historic Flat Rock Village has to offer! Stroll to The Flat Rock Playhouse, Carl Sandburg National Park, local restaurants, and charming shops—all just steps from your front door. This cozy cottage offers the perfect blend of comfort and accessibility for a relaxing, car-free getaway.
You will delight in this light filled airy cottage with vaulted ceilings in every room!
The cottage was originally built Pre-1900 but everything has been rebuilt including the foundation and floor joists. We tried to maintain the essence of the original cottage, and your comfort was at the heart of all our design decisions.
There are 3 bedrooms, two with king beds, and one with a queen. The primary bedroom in the back of the cottage has an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. The two front bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower. There is also a half bath off the kitchen area. The kitchen is fully stocked with a large island, built in bar and breakfast nook.
There are outdoor spaces in the front of the house and a deck out back to enjoy your stay. There is a grill and table and chairs on the deck. This is a small house that lives big!

I love yoga, hiking, cooking, traveling, being with family and friends and anything to do with houses. My husband and I have six children between us, and we stay very busy with work and being with the ones we love!
What makes this property unique
Our cottage is unique in that it is the only privately owned home on The Flat Rock Playhouse setting. We are across the street from The Carl Sandburg National Park and within in a one block radius of 4 restaurants, a coffee shop, art gallery and boutique shopping. This quaint mountain town will charm you!
