Weird Layout!

The property was perfect if you are going to be out and about and just need somewhere to rest. I was staying with two others for a festival and I had the main room. There was no door to my bedroom and it’s right by the front door. I bought a shower curtain for privacy. Also the living room is not a public space it’s connected to the main bedroom. The property location is quiet except for the occasional loud car and noisy pedestrians.

Pros for the Regal Retreat- super comfortable beds, nice white fluffy towels, decorated nicely in an antique style (truly regal in every room) which I enjoyed, great water temperature and pressure in the shower, easy parking, and early check-in information provided. Also, the html link with information about Raleigh was nicely done. I was very impressed with the link and I have been passing it along as we were here for NC State's Parent Weekend. Cons- wifi password was incorrect and we did not get the correct password until late into our stay. An explanation for the TV was never given (we powered it on using the TV button but the remote did not work- batteries maybe? and was a firestick needed?) A coffee pot was provided but zero coffee cups. Did not feel comfortable drinking coffee out of a glass cup. Neighborhood is mixed residential so a little noisy but I felt safe. Lastly, I'm not sure if they were guests or permanent residents but there were little people above us and they would awaken @ 6AM and run back and forth across the room, dropping objects on the floor and riding some type of vehicle. This of course is not the renters fault but know that sleeping in will not be an option unless you come prepared or they were guests like us.

Nice property. Very clean. It's worth staying just to view all the furnishings. Very interesting antiques and tapestries.
