Michigan Beach Getaway - Harbor Cove

Right on the beach! Located along the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay, just outside the picturesque town of Harbor Springs, this property is perfect for a vacationer's needs.

The condominium's open living and dining space features lots of natural light, a fireplace, a breakfast bar and a balcony with water views. The dining room table seats six, with three additional spaces at the bar. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and china, and the downstairs washer and dryer make life much easier. The living room and both bedrooms have flat-panel TVs. Wifi is included. There is a queen bed in the primary bedroom, and the second bedroom features a queen bed with an extra-long full bunk up top. The loft overlooking the living room has a combined daybed/sitting area. Beach towels are provided. Whether you come to relax, swim or ski, this lovely, air-conditioned unit is a great place to stay. No smoking, and pets are not permitted.

Situated in the small, waterside development (seven units total) of Cedar Cove, part of the private community of Harbor Cove, this rental has full use of four community tennis courts, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. On the beach, there is approximately one mile of sand, with a private beach house providing sheltered dining areas, bathrooms and an outdoor shower. Picnic tables and grills can be found poolside (gas) and at the beach (charcoal). Streamside woodland hiking trails are open year 'round, and a children's playground area is located near the pool.

Nearby are the quaint Michigan towns of Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Bay View, all great destinations for shopping, dining and entertainment. In the winter, the ski slopes at Nub's Nob and Boyne Highlands Resort are just minutes away, as are an abundance of snowmobile trails. This property provides the perfect starting place for exploring fun local spots or wandering further on day-trips to Mackinac Island, Traverse City or the Upper Peninsula. Spend the weekend here with friends, very nice and clean and the access to the bay/lake is great. Incredible spot for sunrise and sunset views!

We have been coming up north for 16 years. We love harbor cove and cedar cove area. The condo was wonderful and everything we could or hoped for! Love the big TVs for movies and shows. The beach and pool house were also great and we spent most of our time there. We have already booked again for next years stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The amenities were great. We loved our days swimming at the community pool and beach, and enjoyed the sites close by in Harbor Springs and Petoskey. The property behind the complex was a wooded sanctuary with trails to a serene rocky beach.

Great location

Spent two wonderful weeks exploring the area and using the house as our home base. The property has great views, amenities (pool, beach), is well stocked with linens and utensils and was comfortable for the times we were inside. Would definitely recommend!

Great Retreat

We loved staying here while joining a large family reunion. Location was perfect to get away from the activities and we loved the peaceful beach to watch the waves and wildlife. Perfect Location in Harbor springs

This condo was perfectly located, well appointed, clean and best of all has a great beach access location. We were shocked with the access and cleanliness of the beach. Spent several mornings watching the fog over the bay and evening watching a beautiful show of stars. Would stay again!

Beautiful up north condo

We stayed over Labor Day weekend. The condo is in a great location with views of Little Traverse Bay! Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family. Easy access to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Hope to return next summer.

Lovely

We have been coming to Harbor Cove for over 40 years our children grew up loving the beach. We love the towns and this year we were there for the Petoskey side walk sale. Great fun. Love Gernery’s and can’t beat Bills and the Farmer’s market.

Great condo in a quiet area

We enjoyed our week at this very tidy, well-appointed condo! The walking paths to the beach and views of the bay through the trees were just lovely. The complex was quiet, and many times in the evening we were the only ones enjoying the Adirondack chairs on the beach. Centrally located with quick access to Petoskey and Harbor Springs, and an easy jumping off point for trips up to Mackinaw City to catch the ferry or to head to the UP. Thanks for such a nice stay!

Another great week

We have stayed at this property before, and we love it here. It is in a perfect location, right between Harbor Springs and Petoskey. The condo is nicely decorated, and very clean. There is a small beach area directly behind the unit, and there is a lovely view of the water from inside. A very short walk away is the association’s beach which is large and never too crowded. We are looking forward to our next stay!
