Awesome place! Cozy, spacious, high-ceilings, and close to all the action. Brandon was accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'd stay there again!
The picture is really what the apartment looks like. The owner is super friendly and helpful. There is a washer and dryer, and that was great since we’re were traveling through California. The kitchen was useful since eating out was expensive, LA. The location was good, couldn’t hear the loudness outside. The only thing is the walls are thin so you will hear people coming in and out and occasionally cleaning. Aside from that we really liked the place.
Having a door man and building security access was a nice feature while in downtown Los Angeles. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and quiet despite our stay being both during Anime Expo and 4th of July. The rooftop pool and hot tub were great amenities with beautiful views of the city - especially at night.
Place was clean and bright and beautiful. Excellent location for Convention Center - I had a brisk 6-minute scooter ride for less than 5 each morning, and I Loved it!The host was super friendly and responsive before during and at the end of my trip - Top tier host!!The walls are thin, so I struggled to sleep. (Minus 1* for this.)However, the bed was very comfortable, and IF I were an less scrupulous person, that delicious navy blue throw blanket would have come home with me! (Grin)I did order a sleep mask (mine's wee BT speakers stopped working after the first night), and had it delivered to the Amazon lockers inside the Ross store down the street.(Yuck for Amazon, but by Night 3 my light sleeper behind was desperate!)The shower was hot and had good water pressure, AND the toiletries left by previous guests are organized neatly in the bathroom drawer. The mirror light is great, and the tall lighted mirror in the bedroom came in clutch for evening fit checks. The rooftop hot tup was a godsend for my achy joints, and a nearby condo building provided exactly the right amount of shade so I didn't get crispy on an early March afternoon. The security guards downstairs will each ask for your ID and unit number until they remember your face. I had to check in 3x when returning (once for each gentleman) and then they just smiled as I said hello for the rest of the week. The 24hr shop next door is neat.I would have appreciated dryer balls or sheets but I made it work.
