Great stay in Stowe. The house was well equipped for what we needed and perfect for our long weekend. Close to everything and comfortable accommodations! We had a great time.
This home is cozy and perfect for a family ski trip. Stowe Mountain is only about 20 min away and the grocery store is less than 10 min away, but it’s tucked into a beautiful woodland setting and feels like you are far from everything. The kitchen is full of everything you need to cook nice meals. Loved the heated first floor mud room for skis, boots, and coats. We had an amazing time!
We loved staying at this property. The house was fabulous.. It was comfortable with wonderful decor and all the amenities that you could want. The beds were comfortable. The living room was cozy. Everything worked. The kitchen was fully equipped. even the towels were luxurious. The owner was super responsive to any questions we had. we would love to be invited back.
Wow! Just wow. This was our second time staying here and again, we had such a wonderful belated Thanksgiving weekend at this home with family and friends. Just 10 minutes from Stowe and yet felt far removed from all the tourist hubbub - a quiet country retreat, complete with deer in the yard at sunrise and owls at night. We had a couple of great days skiing and spent 1 day cooking, feasting and lounging about! The kitchen was perfect! Two ovens, everything I’d look for or expect to find in my own kitchen and plenty of pantry space to store our groceries made cooking a big meal here easy. The layout worked so well for us to have a couple working in the kitchen and the rest of us hanging around in the adjacent seating areas. Oh - and the timber room! Amazing space for our family to watch tv, play some games (there is everything from Catan to backgammon and puzzles) and just spend some quality time together. We can’t wait to come back in the summer and explore the mountain biking of Cady Hills and the Kingdom Trails - as well as all the hiking in this area.Susannah and Brandon were very responsive and helped answer all of our questions ahead of time. We were pleasantly surprised, too, about the upgrade to the King bed upstairs. There were some other small changes from the last time we were here that we noticed too and we enjoyed them all.
