The Fox Haven Chalet was just perfect for me and my family for a weekend getaway. We were looking for a place that had a Spa/Hot Tub, Pool Table, Fire Pit and were fortunate to have it all. The Chalet was very cozy but plenty of space for privacy. We would definitely be back to visit again.
This place was perfect for our family ski trip. All accomodations were very comfortable. The location was very accessible to the slopes and everything around the resort. The kids had a great time in the basement area and it allowed for the younger ones to go to sleep before the older. They provided everything we needed for our trip. Highly recommend this home for your next trip.
I was thrilled to find this home nearing the end of the winter season. It was a treat to stay here - the furniture and decor was thoughtful and made for cozy nights. My family enjoyed the s’mores kit, the fire pit and the swings out back overlooking the golf course. The host was helpful and responsive.
We stayed as a quick stop on our way to DC. The house was super cute! My young grandson loved it so much, he did not want to leave. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. There were plenty of entertaining activities for all ages. I wish we could have stayed longer!
The house was spot on to the pictures. It was decorated so beautifully and the ease of getting to places at the resort were very easy. The house sits down the road from the pond and is only a short drive to the slopes. We enjoyed a beautiful snow day with family and friends. The kids favorite time was sledding down the snow covered street. We’ll definitely be back next year for our family weekend.

About the host
Hosted by Jeffrey Harvey
Hi! We are Jeff and Sarah Harvey from Fort Myers, Florida. We have been hosting since 2019. We have three little kids 5 years old and under. We vacation at our properties ourselves so always place an emphasis on being CLEAN, family friendly, and stocked full of fun! We got into the rental business because we love to travel and love to create amazing experiences for people. When you book with us you speak directly to us.
As for our jobs: Jeff is a Business Strategy Consultant. Sarah was previously an Occupational Therapist then took a break once we had kids and became the part-time Director of Children's Ministry at our church. She is now taking time off from work to focus on homeschooling our kids this year. We work together to manage our rentals.
Fun Random Facts: -We met at church & got married in the courtyard of the church -We both have master's degrees -We love anything outside: skiing, kayaking, hiking, biking, all of it! -Jeff was on American Ninja Warrior (and yes, he even got up the warped wall!) -Sarah once swam in the Amazon River in Peru -We were foster parents for almost two years then closed our home when we had the great privilege of adopting our son -We love hosting and hope you have the BEST time at our property!!!
Why they chose this property
Massanutten is such a cool area! We love that it's a four season resort and has SO much to offer: skiing, tubing, ice skating, a waterpark, mountain biking, pools, the spa, and way more. All with close proximity to a town with all of our shopping needs.
We knew location within Massanutten is extremely important to people so we waited until the BEST location was available and were so fortunate to get our place. Our property is less than 3 minutes from the slopes (!!!), has amazing slope views during the winter, AND overlooks the golf course. Jackpot! We feel so fortunate to have found it!
The first time Jeff went to the property there was a fox outside in the trees and after a family group chat we solidified our name: Foxhaven Chalet.
What makes this property unique
Location!!! We have the best location in the resort with slope views, golf course views, and close proximity to absolutely everything. It's so easy to go skiing (or whatever your favorite activity is) in the morning then pop back over to the house for lunch or to put kids down for a nap before returning back to all the fun. Location is so important for a fun and easy vacation.
We are on a quiet road so sitting out on the deck by the fire or grilling dinner feels so peaceful and secluded. As parents who dread traveling to places that are not kid-proofed, we've made sure everything is family-friendly. We chose everything in our house with comfort and style in mind.
