We are from Dallas and our daughter saw this listing on VRBO right after she got engaged last Christmas. She immediately knew that she wanted to get married on this property during the peak of fall foliage in Vermont. After arranging all of the details with the host, we booked the property without ever seeing it in person. We proceeded with making all of our wedding plans and were finally able to visit after the snow melted in late May. During our first visit, the caretaker showed us the entire property and spent at least an hour of her day walking us around and answering all of our questions. She could not have been any nicer or any more helpful. The property was absolutely gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations. We were beyond thrilled because that's not always the case and at that point, there was no turning back. We rented the entire property, including the School House Retreat and had the most beautiful welcome party and wedding we could have possibly had. Every single aspect of our week there was better than we could have ever hoped for. Noah and Kren bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed and more. Although there weren't any children staying with us, the house and the property are very child friendly. In closing, I must add that every guest who traveled to attend was blown away by the beautiful estate, guest house and the grounds at this gorgeous home in Starksboro. I truly couldn't recommend it enough!
