Welcome to The Jewell, a family friendly cottage located on a peaceful 63 acre farm! With Jewell Branch Creek flowing next to the house and private access to the Eastatoee River on the property, The Jewell offers a serene escape to enjoy nature and the beauty of the surrounding Eastatoee Valley. The property is located close to a handful of state parks, just 15 minutes to Lake Keowee or Lake Jocassee, stocked trout streams to fish, and multiple hiking trails nearby including the Foothills Trail.

The space:
A classic cottage design with recent updates: the house was originally built in the 1950s and had extensive renovations and updates in 2024. You'll find a spacious kitchen with cooking and baking pots, pans, and utensils, along with a dining table, wine glasses, and a cozy living room with TV & games. There are also three porches with outdoor furniture and rocking chairs where guests can sit and enjoy the outdoors!

Inside the home you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Each bathroom has a shower (no bathtubs) with clean linens provided. Each bedroom is appointed with comfortable sheets and covers. The bedrooms include:

- Master bedroom: King bed
- Secondary bedroom: Queen bed
- Third bedroom: Full (or double) bed

Also available:
-A full size washer and dryer are available for use.
-A foldable pack and play is included with the rental and can be set up easily in the master bedroom.

Please note this guest cottage is adjacent to the main house on the property which is sometimes occupied. You and your group will still have access to the full property.

Pet Policy:
-Pets are allowed in this home with no additional charge. Please be respectful of the property and note any damage caused by pets.
-Please clean up after your dog if any pet waste is left in the yard.

Parking Details:
- Ample driveway space for cars and a boat are available.
- Please contact the host prior to booking if you plan to park or use a camper on the property.

- This is rural land. While staying here, you may encounter the wildlife that goes with rural spaces, such as deer, turkeys, racoons, bears, spiders, armadillos, and venomous and non-venomous snakes.
- No smoking inside the home. Violators will be subject to a $500 fine.
- The discharge of firearms or any hunting by guests on the property is strictly prohibited. Violators will be subject to a $1,000 fine.
