Wonderful mountain get away

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The home is beautiful and comfortable . The views are amazing! Loved fishing from the dock and using the paddle boat:) We definitely want to come back.

Loved our Mountain Time

This property is in a great location with access to Cashiers, Highlands, Blue Ridge Parkway. The property is nestled on a small lake with dock, beautiful patio area where you can enjoy a fire, views, and the water. The house is lovely, spacious, yet cozy, with ample rooms/beds for family. Everything was well stocked, the owners are wonderful to work with. Great stay at Thanksgiving Lidgr!

Beautiful cabin

Lovely and spacious cabin on a quiet lake. The owner has really taken a lot of time to make thier guest feel like they are at home away from home. Everything plus more was provided for our stay. We were able to relax and enjoy time with our family. Our boys loved fishing. We will book again. Highly recommend!

Indian Lake Stay

What a sweet little spot with a big view! Such a charming home and community. We fished on the lake, hiked to see as many falls as we could. Brevard is close by with cute shops and great food! We loved it all!

We had a wonderful time during our long weekend stay at this property. The location is perfect! Stocked with all of essentials and so cozy. I’ve rented several spots but this is by far my favorite. You won’t be disappointed!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was immaculately clean. My husband and I took the canoe out around the lake. We played games around the big table. Brevard had such a nice little downtown! We'd love to stay again. Thank you!

Relaxing on the lake

In a private natural setting, the home overlooks a beautiful lake! Easy access to the water and equipment helps to make the property full of opportunities for a family. There are many comfortable seating areas both inside and outside and the well-equipped kitchen helped to make the visit a real pleasure.

Grateful for our stay at Thanksgiving Lodge

What an amazing lake house! Our family stayed for an entire week and loved every minute of it. Between the paddle boat, canoe and rope swing, our kiddos were in heaven. Sitting around the outdoor fire pit roasting marshmallows and listening to music while overlooking the lake was just pure bliss. Not to mention all the activities, waterfalls and hiking trails in the surrounding area. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Thanksgiving Lodge. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Eason!

Perfect Home away from Home

Truly enjoyed the Thanksgiving Home... the furniture and the layout is perfect for a family. Everyone had their own space and I just loved sitting at the table in the morning sipping tea and looking out over the small lake. My 5 year old granddaughter loved the paddle boat and jumping off the dock. We explored the many waterfalls in the area. We also had smores a few evenings by the lake. Great host...always quick to reply. Thank you.

Lake Toxaway Area

This cabin was beautiful. The view from the back porches on ground level and upstairs was awesome. Cousins' children who visited enjoyed the tarzan swing near the boat dock. There was something for everyone to enjoy. Just a warning though for seniors with mobility issues - there is no railing to hold on to as you go down the 50 steps from cabin to the lake.

Something for everyone

This beautiful property had something for everyone. My 7 year old son advanced his fishing skills while my nature loving 9 year old daughter discovered the creatures of the lake. Just minutes away were beautiful waterfalls for the family to hike to. All while spending most of the time relaxing and absorbing the beautiful surroundings.

Nice Getaway in a great location

Great location! Loved being on the lake. Fishing off the dock was a blast. Home has a nice layout to accommodate five people. Beds were comfortable. Excellent communication from the owner, very responsive. Two negatives: bathmat in master was soaking wet and clearly had not been cleaned. Trash bins were overly full and very stinky right by the entry.

Beautiful Cabin!

Cabin was very well decorated. Loved the pine beams and floors. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes, utensils, etc. Living room was nice with cozy sofa and two soft chairs. Loved the rain shower! Lots of great views of the lake. Steps to the lake were a bit tricky in the rain but provided walking sticks helped. Caught a nice bass off the dock. Wanted to use canoe but it rained a lot while we were there. A huge shout out to the Easons for the warning of hurricane Hellene. We left two days early on Thursday ahead of the disaster. We will definitely be back!

A deep exhale

After a very unexpected start to our summer, we were incredibly grateful for the time we had recently at Lake Toxaway with family. From walking in to see encouraging messages sprinkled throughout the interior space to enjoying the porch with its beautiful view to noticing our first morning that we could lay in bed and watch the sunrise, it was the deep exhale we needed. Thank you for sharing your space. It was such a gift for our family.

Nice house a little cramped for 2 families down stairs. All and all we had a good time .

We could only turn TV on upstairs and only with son's account. No instructions that we could find. the fire pit was not working and my son felt the line may have been clogged. Overall clean and nice. Family when all together did feel a little cramped with downstairs where they all slept. We loved having the boats to use. Enjoyed the swimming. Final concern found getting into the housse very difficult. The code was not sent to either my email or phone. Again my son called the owner. Thanks for children

We are centrally located between Cashiers NC and Brevard NC with Sapphire Valley Ski Resort within a 20 minute drive. We have Dupont State Forest, Gorge State Forest, and several others with hiking trails, watering holes, and waterfalls galore all within a 30 minute drive from the cabin. We are a short distance from groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Our favorite place is downtown Brevard with the best restaurants and shopping, a beautiful 2 story library, Rockys ice cream, and of course the Co-ed movie theater that makes you feel like you have stepped back in time.
