Perched at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, this 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home sleeps 10 guests and was originally built to the specifications of Averell Harriman—the mastermind behind Sun Valley—and reconstructed in 2004. Enjoy access to the Sun Valley Inn Pool and seasonal Olympic Pool, which are only a short walk away, alongside convenient proximity to skiing on Dollar Mountain and entertainment at Sun Valley Village. Guests will love admiring the awe-inspiring mountain views while cozily tucked beside the living area’s crackling fireplace.

Step inside this 3,025-square-foot luxury house to find an exquisitely furnished interior designed for leisure and comfort. The large gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, including a Wolf 6-burner stove, while the island and 6-stool breakfast bar offer plenty of counter space for prepping home-cooked meals to share. In the sunny nook, a round 6-seat table offers a cheerful spot to sip coffee and tea or pull out the card deck for an evening of friendly competition! Past the kitchen, a spacious dining and living area awaits, featuring a table for 6, a wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV, and a welcoming sitting space made up of 4 soft armchairs and a plush sofa. Guests can use the secretary's desk to the side to check emails after a day of fun. Meander out either set of double doors to savor a drink at the terrace table while taking in mountain view. When evening arrives, retire to the lovely primary bedroom, boasting a king bed, gas fireplace, Smart TV, and private bathroom. Additional sleeping accommodations include 1 guest bedroom with a king bed, private bathroom, and TV, as well as 3 guest bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds. In one of these rooms, the 2 twin beds can be connected to form a king bed with advance notice.

On the lower level, enjoy work or play in the den, which features a desk, sectional sofa, and TV.

Our stay at this cottage was absolutely fantastic! The home was spacious, gorgeous and well-appointed with all we needed to cook at home or play family games. The Natural Retreats concierge went above and beyond to take care of us. The location is perfect for walking or biking to the Lodge or heading out on family adventures. We cannot wait to return next summer!

Beautiful house...well-appointed, great location and very comfortable.

Our group has a fantastic time staying at the Historic Harriman Cottage. Location is a perfect "10", and the house has everything you'd want...private bedrooms all with their own bathrooms, comfortable and cozy living room, well-appointed and huge kitchen. Natural Retreats was also fantastic and very responsive. Only reason it gets four out of five stars is that the HVAC seemed to be malfunctioning during our stay. Bedrooms were either very cold or stifling hot. Couldn't find a middle ground, and even had Natrual Retreats out to try to fix it. Overall, this was a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay. Would recommend it to anybody, and I think it's a safe assumption the HVAC has been fixed.
