'Thistle Dew: Canaan Valley'... The perfect place for couples or groups up to 14!
Our home is located in the heart of Canaan. Just minutes from all major attractions and state parks. Sit on our front porch swing and enjoy views of both Timberline and Canaan Valley Ski Resorts and their mountains. Our home offers a cozy living room area, separate TV/play room for the kids, in addition to an upstairs sitting area and office. On the second floor, you'll love the HUGE master suite with Queen bed and flat screen TV. The second and third bedrooms offer nice twin and full size bunks. The fourth bedroom has a Queen sized bed and a window seat with mountain views. For guests who desire a first floor bedroom, our house offers the fifth bedroom on the main floor with adjacent bath. The home offers two additional full baths, one on each floor.
Enjoy a nice cookout on the back deck, fully furnished with patio furniture and both charcoal and gas grills, or sit by our fire pit and make s'mores on a brisk night.

My sister, Missy and I, manage our family home. Missy lives in Ripley, WV with her husband, Rob and their dog Brock. I live in Morgantown, WV with my two kids, Madison and Matthew. I'm a graduate of WVU and now work there in the Education department. This home was the dream of our parents, which started more than 30 years ago.

We realize you have many options to choose from! So, let us tell you why we've decided to offer our home to you. As Missy and I vacation with our families across the US, we have come to value the home owners who have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable... from extra throw blankets, games and toys for your kids, crock pots and ample dishes, we hope we've thought of everything to help you feel at home in our home! Its brand new, yet very simple. If there's something you don't love, we want to hear about it, so we can try to change it for our future guests!
What makes this property unique
You'll love our private lot and the overwhelming quiet from the front porch. Memories will be made sitting around the fire, and playing board games in our game room. We sincerely hope you'll take a leisurely walk around the property and down the road... you never know what you might see along the way!
