Private space includes a main floor with a private entrance, an open kitchen with a fireplace, and a spacious basement apartment with open-concept living, dining, a wet bar, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom.

The yard is shared with the host, but your privacy matters to me. If you prefer isolation, please just communicate that, and I am happy to accommodate.

Cats and dogs are isolated to the host space.

Please note: If you have sensitivity to animals or animal hair, this may not be the ideal stay for you. My tween son and I live in the front half of the house with our small dog and two cats. But we do not share space.

Free driveway parking for one car. If you need two parking spaces, we can arrange that.

Smart lock for seamless entry.

This property features a fully equipped kitchen with smart appliances, a spacious breakfast island, a 75" smart TV, and a comfortable living area. The downstairs feels like a private apartment. There is a washer and dryer, a rain shower, and a 55” TV for your use. Additionally, it offers access to a sunny patio and a large fenced backyard (weather permitting). The backyard is shared, as I garden whenever possible and am often seen staring at the grass grow.

The basement stays nice and warm or cool (depending on the time of year).

Breweries, restaurants, bars, and coffee houses in Villa Park are all walkable. The Prairie Path is a wonderful path. You can take it over a bridge into the quaint part of Elmhurst to find more food and entertainment options.

You will likely need a car to explore Chicago. However, if you want to Uber to the Villa Park Metra station, public transportation can be an option for those who enjoy that mode of travel.

Close to O'Hare Airport.

Great spot for a weekend hockey trip. Very comfortable. I wasn’t there much, but when I was it was perfect for what I needed. I like the walk-in shower. Would definitely return.

I didn't really use the full property (I just slept in the bedroom and took a shower), but this is a pretty ample apartment. It would be pretty comfortable and functional for a longer stay, or even a couple with a child.It's an easy walk (including via trail) to the cute little downtown Villa Park. I walked to another establishment beyond downtown to meet friends, and I also walked after checkout to a diner and then to the Metra commuter station (longer walk).
