Tucked on a quiet back road, this very well equipped cottage is your great escape!. Right across the gravel road from shared neighborhood beach, you have the best of all worlds. Quiet and private, 2 queen bedrooms and an extra futon in an additional room if you need it, so accommodations for up to six people, and a pet! Nice private yard too! An hour to Burlington, an hour to Montreal, and short drives to state parks, bike trails, shopping, restaurants, really, you name it. Come relax with us! Please be aware we cannot be responsible for weather, and Lake water level. That’s Mother Nature’s job.

Nothing fancy; just what we needed! Comfortable beds and all furniture, wonderfully stocked with spices, nice water view and easy access to the shore, friendly property manager next door, and our cat was welcome!

Champlain Dream

We received a very nice welcome from Mary Lynn! the cabin was roomy and had everything we needed. It was a dog-friendly street which we appreciated because we have a rescue Beagle and she has a robust volume. The view of the lake from the front porch was beautiful but we were disappointed with the beach and entry to the lake. It was muddy and not pleasant. It was hard to relax in the quiet because there was a mower or electric saw going several times a day.

Sorry you weren’t happy with the beach. It is subject to the whims of Mother Nature, and the lake is quite low right now. And this is a neighborhood where people live and carry on daily chores at their homes, so you are bound to hear a mower or a saw.

We enjoyed our stay but did have a few suggestions to make it awesome: 1 better mattresses those are very soft and hard to get a good nights rest on, 2 olive oil and small coffee selection would be great, 3. Complete fencing in back so dogs visiting could be let loose to play under supervision of course 4. Broom or rechargeable vacuum so light maintenance could be done 5. The beach was hard to enjoy because it was covered in stuff and the water close to beach was very debris filled maybe a raking of beach would make it more user friendly. Overall it was a good time.
