Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear about the loss in your family. We’re glad you were ultimately able to reschedule your trip and enjoy your time at Put-in-Bay. We do want to clarify the refund situation. Your reservation was booked through Airbnb, and the travel insurance was purchased separately through a third-party insurance provider. Because the insurance policy was not purchased through us, we have no control over the insurance claim or refund process and cannot override the terms of a reservation booked and paid for through Airbnb. We did refund the separate 13% in taxes that we were able to refund on our end. Unfortunately, we simply did not have the ability to override and refund the entire Airbnb reservation, particularly when the travel insurance covering the cancellation was purchased through an outside company. We understand how frustrating the insurance claim process can be, especially while dealing with a death in the family, and we hope Generali is able to resolve the remaining claim for you soon. We appreciate you staying with us and are glad to hear that you ultimately had a good time at Put-in-Bay.
