Late Spring through Early Fall:
During the warm months, Douglas Lake is filled to its peak, giving you incredible lake and mountain views and the perfect setting for swimming, floating, kayaking, boating, and more. The property includes a private boat launch suitable for any size boat, making lake days effortless. Bring your floats, tubes, kayaks, and noodles—when the lake is full, the water is just steps away from the home’s lakeside area. Relax on the sun deck attached to the gazebo, or unwind in the covered gazebo and shaded porch, both offering comfortable seating right by the water.

Fall:
Surrounded by a stunning variety of trees, the Mountain Oasis becomes a peaceful retreat for leaf-peepers. Brilliant fall colors reflect off the water (when lake levels are still high) and blanket the entire property, making this a perfect autumn getaway.

Winter & Early Spring:
Douglas Lake is seasonally lowered in the winter months due to TVA dam operations, meaning the water recedes and the shoreline becomes more open. Although lake access is limited during this time, the expansive mountain views become even more prominent. The property remains a prime spot for cozy winter stays, holiday gatherings, and peaceful retreats.

Year-Round Enjoyment:
The large porch, lakeside gazebo, and fire-pit area provide year-round comfort—shade and breezes in the summer, and cool air, warm fires, and wide-open mountain views in fall and winter. Enjoy s’mores by the fire no matter the season.

Living Room:
The living room has a cozy sofa and love seat for nights in watching the flatscreen smart tv around the fireplace. This home has internet access for your favorite streaming service. The living room also has 2 comfy chairs directly facing the lake, because when you have views like this, it`s a must. Steps away from the living room, you`ll find the kitchen, so you won’t miss movie or lake viewing time when you need a snack.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped for any meal and includes stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher), a wide array of pots and pans and any utensil you may need. When you’re on lake time, morning coffee is a must so we have both a Keurig and coffee pot. Evening drinks are also a must so you’ll find plenty of counter space for your favorite merlot. There is bar seating for 3 so pop open that red and have a moment before dinner.

Dining Room:
The dining room offers a large table with seating for 6. The dining room is right next to the living room so you can enjoy large meals with the whole family. The dining table also makes a great work space if needed and an even better game space! We have plenty of board games available for hours of family fun when you get tired of the lake, if that`s even possible.

Game Room:
A vacation home isn’t a vacation home without a game room! You’ll have hours of entertainment with the Pac Man Arcade, foosball, shuffleboard and darts. We also have a playroom for the kids which offers X-Box with two hand controls.

Two King Bedrooms:
Offering two king bedrooms on this one level home, both feature a plush king size bed with bedside tables, dresser, room darkening curtains and a flatscreen TVs. Both King rooms are very convenient to everything and steps from the full bathroom, front door and kitchen.

Queen Bunk Room:
This room features 2 queen beds (bunk style), a bed side table, dresser, room darkening curtains, a tv and x-box with double controllers for all the gaming fun.

Bonus Room:
This bonus bedroom is attached to the main King bedroom and has a twin day bed along with a twin trundle with beautiful lake views out the window. This room has room darkening shades and a flatscreen tv.

Bathrooms (& Laundry Room):
This home offers 2 full size bathrooms. One bath has a gorgeously tiled walk in shower with double sinks while the other full bath offers a bathtub for your soaking convenience. Both bathrooms have plenty of storage for all of your guests to clean up after a long day of lake fun. This home has a laundry room, conveniently off of the kitchen so pack light knowing that your laundry needs are covered.

You`re a short drive from the Pigeon Forge parkway and the entrance to the National Park! You`re 30 minutes from dinner theaters, the titanic museum, amusement parks, mini golf, and just 40 minutes from Dollywood.
