Guest Access:
This property consists of five distinct cottages. When reserved individually, guests have exclusive access to their designated cottage, as outlined in the rental agreement. The other four cottages are occupied by fellow guests, and all shared outdoor spaces are available for communal use.
The Neighborhood:
Aquidneck Island is a coastal enclave known for its scenic charm, historic character, and approachable scale. With most streets limited to 25 mph, the island maintains a calm, family-friendly atmosphere that encourages unhurried exploration. Its intimate size makes it easy to navigate, offering a quiet rhythm that reflects the essence of seaside New England.
Getting Around:
Getting around the island is both easy and enjoyable. Many of our homes are situated in residential neighborhoods where walking, biking, scootering, or renting a golf cart offers a relaxed and scenic way to explore the area.
Other Things to Note:
For dinner we highly recommend The Fifth Element on Broadway. Visit their website to make reservations www.thefifthri.com. Second Beach is very popular and tends to have more waves. Third Beach is very child-friendly as the water is usually very calm and protected from the wind. The Atlantic Grill is a great breakfast spot and walkable from this property. Newport's Cliff Walk is another must do while visiting. Located on Memorial Blvd, just before you head into Newport. Ocean Drive is an 8-mile scenic waterfront must see. The views are incredible and the mansions on Bellevue Avenue are breathtaking.
Interaction with Guests:
We’re located just down the street and are always happy to assist should you need anything—don’t hesitate to call or text. Otherwise, we’re pleased to give guests the privacy and space to fully enjoy their stay.

Nice place. Great location. However, there is an ant problem- sugar ants. If you have a short stay and don’t plan on cooking or bringing food and don’t mind sugar ants crawling around- it’s all good.
The cottage was in a convenient location to all! Close to the beaches and cliff walk, and a short drive or uber to Thames and the restaurants. The cottage was clean and had parking for one car. It was in a cute neighborhood with friendly neighbors. I would recommend staying here as a couple or single person!

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
There was an overflowing 5 gallon bucket in closet collecting drainage from AC and it caused wet subfloor that lingered for our stay. There was lichen growing in the closet behind the bucket. The third party management place was responsive on the app but came out only once to check things out…I emptied water twice in two days and the owner did nothing to compensate or otherwise directly communicate with me about it all. For the money I paid, I expected better. Had I let it go, the place would have been somewhat flooded and the floor would have likely been ruined beyond what it already was. Walking on a floor that was wet in spots and having to check the water level to make sure more didn’t overflow was inconvenient. With third party management, it seemed the owner hid behind them and cared little for my inconvenience and frustration. I called when the trip was over to discuss and was nicely told ‘thanks for helping out’ but was not even given a reimbursement of a fee. The place is nice overall and the location is solid—easy walk to the beach and small ‘main street’.
