This home is nice but on the second night we were going to bed we turns out the lights then my daughter turned them back on a half hour later to find cockroaches climbing the wall. We took pic then called and told Vacasa we were moving to different house, they called the owner who was gonna charge us for the 4 nights because she tried to convince us they were lake bugs but I live near the lake in small home which is why I needed to rent this one, I told them these are not lake bugs. The owner after telling her I was contacting my attorney said she would only charge us for the two nights we were there. We should not have been charged at all because it ruined our whole day moving from one house to another when my kids were here on vacation. I would never ever rent this home again. It also had soooo many spiders, owner tried to say they have the house sprayed regularly, that was a total lie.

Thank you for your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. While we understand how unsettling it must have been to encounter bugs during your stay, we want to assure you that the home is professionally treated regularly by a licensed pest control service. Since your visit, we have not received any similar complaints or found evidence of cockroaches in the home. Given the home's proximity to the lake and the rainfall around the time of your stay, it's likely that the bugs observed were temporary outdoor pests drawn inside by the weather. We understand that this impacted your vacation, and we regret any inconvenience caused. Your concerns have been taken seriously and shared with our team as we continue to maintain a high standard for cleanliness and comfort.
