Welcome to our charming little cottage, built in 1921 and renovated in 2013!
Come on in! Bedroom on the left; kitchen on the right.
Our guests call the patio another room and it is by far, a guest favorite.
The electric awning provides a lot of shade on the patio for warm days.
There is a pull-out couch that faces the television.

Steps to all Newport Beach is known for- clean and safe beach, ideal for cooling off in the gentle waves. Well-equipped unit: Mitsubishi (high-end quiet) heat/air conditioning- sleep in total comfort set to meet your individual preference. Plus, quality mattress, finer linens, Apple Plus Streaming, well-appointed kitchen and spacious outdoor patio for your personal sunning, dining or game playing.

Easy walk to the sand, legendary bay, fun pubs, groceries, restaurants, bike rental, famous pier and water sport rental. If your perfect vacation means a relaxing book by soothing ocean tides or heart pumping fun such as paddle surfing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, golfing, tennis, biking or boating, 211 29th street is a great choice!

(We have added another one-bedroom listing in the back- upstairs a with brand new furniture, full kitchen, large window view, raised ceilings and air conditioning; All the upgrades of a finer hotel. Inquire with hosts or take a look at #811145. Some of our guests rent both units at the same time so two couples can be together but each has their own private space.)

The home itself was beautiful, with an amazing front and back patio and adorable decorations throughout. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. We loved the location as it was walking distance to a grocery store, lots of shopping and nice restaurants, not to mention the short and lovely walk down the street to the beach. The hosts are delightful and we found the accommodations a little touches to be just what we needed to relax and enjoy our time.

We had an amazing stay at this charming cottage in Newport Beach! From the moment we arrived everything exceeded our expectations. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated with a coastal vibe and had all the items needed to make our stay relaxing. We loved our private patio and spent quite a lot of time enjoying meals and a good bottle of wine. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and gave us great recommendations for local eating and shopping. Everything was very close and convenient. We highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy Newport Beach.

Our five-night stay couldn’t have been more perfect! From the moment we booked this adorable cottage to after we arrived, Kimberlee went over and above our expectations in communication and all the special touches and amenities that were provided. We cooked a lot, and every item we needed was available, even a small cooler and ice packs for our lunch on our Duffy boat adventure! We walked to the bay and ocean and restaurants and grocery store. The location is perfect. Quiet, safe, and so convenient! The front porch is especially lovely with all the beautiful potted succulents. Summer time stay

Fantastic stay with greats hosts. John is very communicative and helpful, even saved a parking spot for us right out front! The location is perfect—block from the sand and Pavillions. The cottage was very clean and had everything needed for two people and a baby. Overall, highly recommend and we’ll definitely stay again!

Perfect Getaway!

Everything about this property was perfect. The beach cottage was so adorable the owners are extremely gracious. You could not ask for a better location, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. I have to give a shout out to Humanity Coffee, walked to get the best cappuccino every morning.

Perfect Getaway

This beach cottage is absolutely perfect in every way. So many details and amenities. The location is ideal if you want access to both the beach and the downtown area. Close to the Lido area with beautiful shops and restaurants. Couldn't have found a better place!

Perfect Newport Beach cottage

Everything you see and read about this cottage, is an exact description. It does not disappoint, time and time again. John and Kimberlee are attentive hosts and communication was timely and always responsive. I cannot say enough about them and the cottage.

John and Kimberlee live on-site and are available to assist when needed. Pete, a teacher and high school football/swimming and wrestling coach worked three jobs in order to buy his dream beach house. In 1970, this dream became a reality! Come enjoy Pete's dream with us!

Why they chose this property

The property location is ideal for fun in the sun! Great public beach a block away with soft sand and friendly water. Close to all the activities and fun Newport is known for, plus the convenience of a very close grocery store (Pavillions), pubs, bank, dry cleaners and laundry mat. Beautiful sunsets too!

What makes this property unique

A new addition for the Spring 2016 - rent the upstairs unit- a one-bedroom with a large window and upgraded décor VRBO #811145). Exceptional service and hospitality. Let us know if you are celebrating something special, we will be happy to arrange for flowers, champagne or anything we can do. If you need a ride from John Wayne airport, just ask.
