This house was built in 1920 and is part of a two-unit space. This is the lower unit with a large fenced in back yard. This space has many different guitars and instruments, all playable and functional. A musician's playground. Much of the décor is concert posters from our travels! Located with Muskegon Lake views from the backyard and within walking distance to the heart of downtown Muskegon, Ice arena and Heritage landing. Only a 5-minute drive to Lake Michigan and Pere Marquette beach.
This is a quiet urban location with long term neighbors. The neighborhood is located in an improving area of the city. Some of the surround streets have neighborhoods that are of declining repair. The Downtown area is being invested in, and this location is excellent. It is safe and we have never had any issues with, but we lock our doors at night because it is the city. We are pet friendly for a fee.

A wonderful home base to explore all that Muskegon has to offer. Really special touches and tons of musical instruments to enjoy. The host are excellent, communicators. It’s cozy, clean and comfortable! Highly recommend this pet friendly property.
Home was beautiful and very comfortable. Hosts were easy to work with, I had an issue when booking (my own error) and hosts walked me through the correction and was so kind. Communication throughout stay, wonderful experience.
This property is beautiful, and the attention to detail above and beyond! Thick towels, comfy beds, indoor and outdoor games, a huge television, and a first class kitchen with great appliances, lovely dishes and sumptious cookware. There is a huge backyard and a fantastic view of the water from the large kitchen windows and back deck. We had a very enjoyable stay.
My whole family LOVED this home! All of us loved exploring all of the decor and theming. There were some smaller handheld instruments available to allow the kids make music while following our “don’t touch anything on the walls” rule that we set. They also loved setting up colorful lights on the ceiling. The home was clean and had everything we needed and more. Plenty of blankets, all the beds (and futons!) were comfy, nice big TV for movie nights, even some snacks and essentials in the pantry & fridge. We made great use of the backyard with a bonfire, yard games, and just enjoying the views. There’s an enclosed porch that’s shared with the other unit, but had a passcode for security. And then a separate passcode and entrance for both the front door and back yard for our unit. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay. This was a last minute booking for us and such a lucky find! The hosts were super quick and pleasant with all communications. Also included pics of places we went nearby - Pere Marquette beach is 12 mins away, where we swam in Lake MI and walked out to the Lighthouse. Heritage Landing park was 5 mins away.. very cute, there’s a playground and a bridge overlooking Muskegon Lake. El Tapatíos for dinner and Frosty Cove for dessert.. both within 5 mins of the house as well and SO good. We are from Metro Detroit and were comfortable with the location and neighborhood. Zero complaints.. 10/10 would stay again!
The space was well stocked with everything you would need. The neighborhood was very nice. Communication was excellent!! The back yard is big & there's a volleyball net & firepit. We didn't use them but they were inviting.
