A 12-minute walk, bike ride to tranquil Kelly Beach where only residents of Bonnet Shores enjoy the surf and sand. Beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, cooler and bicycles are supplied.
Home is located on Lake Road with breezes and partial views of Wesquage Pond – room for 4 cars parked.
This home features 4 bedrooms, living room, upstairs living area, both with Cable TV, WIFI, and 2 full bathrooms. Our home is very CHILD-FRIENDLY. Included is a pack & play, a bed guard, kiddie pool, games and toys.
Just bring your bathing suits! Make our home yours. Narragansett has the best beaches in New England, restaurants and nightlife. You’ll be only 15-minutes from downtown Newport to enjoy the mansions, quaint shops, fabulous restaurants and events. 10 minutes from the Block Island Ferry. Block Island is one of the 'hidden gems' in this country...very, very beautiful with excellent nightlife, restaurants and sightseeing as well. Tip: take the slow Ferry – half the fun is getting there…

Great Location for a Weekend Getaway

Our party of four had a great time here for the weekend. Lots of open, airy space to hang out at "home" and convenient to all the sights we wanted to see. The owner was super nice and pleasant to work with.

Amazing Beach Cottage!

We loved staying at this home! Despite appearing on the smaller side it is actually quite spacious with great common and sleeping spaces! Quick walk to a beautiful beach. Great backyard and outdoor shower. Highly recommend for a peaceful beach trip away! Close to everything!

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay in the beach house!

The house was wonderful, there was plenty of room for the seven of us and we enjoyed all the homey touches and conveniences. We enjoyed eating on the deck and relaxing in the spacious backyard. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and did everything to make us comfortable. We are looking forward to a return trip!

Second year renting this house

We love the quiet neighborhood and area. We rode the bicycles provided to the beach and had a great time. All of the supplies for the kitchen were provided and we used the grill several times. Great time has by all, even the dogs.

Great location and house

We were in RI for a soccer tournament at URI and this house was the perfect location. We had 4 adults, 4 kids and dogs. House had pretty much everything we needed. We had some free time after the games so took the bikes to the beach and had an awesome time there for a few hours. We’d definitely come back if we are in the area!

family reunion

we had a wonderful time the week of July 4th. The house was the perfect size for a large family.people could come and go during the day and we would gather at night on the patio for dinner.the location was perfect for people who wanted to go to the beach, head to Newport,or go sightseeing for the day. we are already looking forward to next year.the best part was it is a pet friendly property which was important to us. Lovely comfortable home!

We are a group of 5 women who stayed here for several nights. It was very comfortable for this size group and we had a lovely time. The house is clean and has everything you need to feel right at home and relaxed. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy drive to Newport and beaches. Nice backyard with fire pit. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Hosts are welcoming, quickly answered questions and overall very pleasant.

Great getaway

We spent two weeks at this cottage and enjoyed the change of pace (from being in our home since March!) The house was comfortable, the deck and yard were great for evening meals and the outdoor shower was well used! Kelly Beach is lovely and a 10 min walk or quick bike ride. We’ve been to Narragansett many times and this was a new fun area for us to stay in. Note that most restaurants are at least a 10 - 15 minute drive away. Brickley’s ice cream is nearby and awesome, And Loconda is a fabulous new Italian restaurant that is 8 mins away and should not be missed. But most other options are a drive south.

This house was perfect for our family of four and additional friends! It was clean, affordable and was laid out great so everyone had space to do their own thing throughout the week. The kids loved the upstairs portion of the house, the adults loved sitting by the fire at night. The outdoor shower is a must for any beach house and this one was great. Walking to the beach was a nice option for our active family, while getting dropped off was also convenient. The beach itself was very clean and never got too crowded. Michelle was in touch and available if needed or just to check in and see how we were doing. Can't wait to come back!!!

Affordable convenient stay

This beach bungalow is a convenient location in Bonnet Shores and the beach passes and walking distance to Kelly Beach are fantastic. Enough space for a family, although be warned, it is NOT a cook's kitchen - just not enough space/knives/etc. Good enough to cook basics. Air conditioning work ed perfectly. The downside was all the deferred maintenance, house itself just needs a thorough tending too - outdoor shower wasn't treated and had black and white mold. Given the price point, it was worth it this summer, but we would maybe look elsewhere for the future.

Perfect vacation

This house was perfect in every way. Exactly as described in the listing. It was spotless when we arrived. Michelle (owner) was very easy and accommodating to work with. All of the amenities of home so we didn’t have to pack much. There were even toys for the kids. Games for family game night. Perfect place for the kids to ride their bikes. Quick bike ride to to the private beach. Washer and dryer was a godsend. Close to the town beach. Quaint back yard. Extremely private. Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly. We will definitely be back.

Perfect House for Family Vacation

This is the perfect house for a family vacation. We recently spent a week at this house in Narragansett and it was exactly what we were looking for. We went to Block Island one day, Newport one day, and spent a few days at the neighborhood beach. All were very convenient to get to from the house. The house is much more spacious than it appears from the outside. We had two adults, two kids and two dogs and the house could have easily accommodated another small family. The house is also very clean and well maintained. Michelle, the owner of the home, is great. She stopped by on our first day to make sure we were all set and she provided excellent information in a binder in the house regarding local attractions/transportation/restaurants/etc. We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend this property.

Perfect beach cottage!

We stayed here two weeks ago and really enjoyed our stay! The rental was extremely clean and everything was ready upon our arrival. Weather was a bit rainy and overcast a few days, so we went to Newport, Wickford village and tried some of Narragansetts great restaurants. My husband and I loved the beach at Bonnet Shores, our teen age daughter and her friend were able to use the bikes provided with the house to bike to the beach. We ate out most nights, but we enjoyed grilling out and enjoying the deck off the kitchen. The decor of the house is very comfortable and beachy. The arrangement of upstairs bedrooms and bath is perfect for older children and teenagers. Michelle was so easy to work with and her folder of information was great to refer to with any questions about the house or area. We enjoyed the house and location so much we are thinking about returning next year!

An excellent choice...

My wife and I booked our summer vacation here with friends of ours for a week, following July 4. In total, there were four adults and two toddlers, and we knew pretty quickly upon arrival that we chose wisely. This is a charming, well-maintained cottage in a perfect location within Narragansett, especially for families. The layout is great and you have all the amenities you need for a getaway. The deck, outdoor dining, barbecue, and backyard were our favorite features. The cottage is within easy biking distance of Kelly Beach. This is a great choice if you're looking for calm waters and minimal crowds, coupled with a simply beautiful location. The owners, Michelle and Bill, were wonderful, gracious hosts. They provided useful information about the area, were responsive to questions/comments, and made us feel welcomed from the time of booking through departure. We could't have been more pleased with the experience and hope to be back again soon!

Good location and nice cottage

The location and layout of the cottage is great. The owner was responsive on relaying early check in and dropping off toiletry. A few things I think that can use improvement are 1) cleanliness of the place. The downstairs bathroom curtain had mildew. There were cobwebs and dead bugs throughout the house. 2) Ventilation was poor around the house. All the bedrooms had a musty smell which seems to be emitting from the bathrooms. 3) some updates such as newer dishwasher, tightening up the closet door knobs, etc. Overall, a lovely place that would even be better with some minor adjustments.

Family vacation

Cute house. We vacationed with my brother’s family. Plenty of bedrooms. We had couple of concerns when we first arrived. The homeowners returned our call quickly. Some things in the house are outdated. Kitchen counter space very limited. If you plan on cooking often this might be a challenge. The walk to beach is more than 11minutes as stated. Probably 25minutes. Difficult walk if you have children and beach stuff to bring. No sidewalks. Your better off getting dropped off.

Cute House, Lovely Hosts

Nice 4 bedroom 2 bath house. Great outdoor spaces. The house does have everything included to enjoy your stay.. Hosts are lovely, welcoming and available for anything. 3 critiques that could easily be remedied -mold in shower on window, around handle and bathmat. The rest of the house was cleaned well.; bedroom doors have key locks without keys available (my son locked his sister out of her room and we had to contact the host at 930pm to let us in the room, they were great about it, but maybe not good for younger kids); queen beds sag in the middle so it was like sleeping in a pit next to my spouse. New mattresses needed. Really though, we would rent again from this host. I would also suggest a welcome book explaining feature of the house and community to be in the house to making things easeir for them.

Outdoor oasis

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The house was ok; clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The magic happens outside. This house is on a quiet street in a cute neighborhood. The deck off the kitchen is perfect. It has both sitting and a dining area with a grill. It is under a canopy of trees providing shade and comfort. The back yard is a good size, fenced in for the most part, again trees providing shade and privacy to most of the yard. A fire pit made for cool evening fun. Kelly beach was small but nice, perfect for young children. The walk to the beach is doable but treacherous since there are no sidewalks and a good amount of traffic. I read about a trolley service but saw no evidence of that, we shuttled people back and forth so had no need for it anyway. The host was responsive and kind. I would rent again except we really needed one more bedroom this year and we have a new grandchild on the way making this house challenging for space. We scoped our other listings in the neighborhood and no yard compared to this one. Very sad to not be able to return.

Originally we were visitors from New York - we'd drive up to Narragansett almost every other weekend to be in this beautiful town on the beach! We loved it so much that our little family of five made it our permanent home. We remember exploring this area and would love to share our experiences with you.

Why they chose this property

Location location location. Walk or ride your bike to the private and tranquil beach. This beach is great for the little kids. Minimal waves. The cottage is convenient to everything you may need, shopping, beach, water activities, movies, spa, and parks. We have a lovely shaded private backyard for post-beach relaxation. Driveway can handle 2-3 cars and front of house has designated parking for 1 - 2 cars.

The light and airy feeling of this house. It's location is wonderful, convenient, safe for kids. Enjoy the breeze and privacy. Lovely backyard that is nice and cool in the afternoon.
