This was an awesome spot for a temporary employee that needed to live somewhere for four months. The owner was totally accommodating, and everything was as depicted in the description. Immaculate two bedroom cabin in the woods. Beautifully decorated. The stream and woods in the back yard provide a very relaxing experience. Even caught a few small fish! It’s just a really nice cabin in the woods.

From our initial booking throughout our entire stay, everything was perfect! The 2-bedroom, 1 bath cabin is beautiful, spacious, clean, well furnished, and well maintained. The property is surrounded by tall pine trees and offers an amazing view of the Cedar River from the back porch. There are also well constructed steps that lead all the way down to the river. The comfortable living room furniture, large Smart TV, fast Internet made it possible for us to log into our streaming services so that we could enjoy our usual TV viewing, even while staying away from home. The kitchen appliances are all new and amazing. We were also impressed by a few special touches, such as sharing cookies upon our arrival. The cabin, surrounding woods and gracious hosts exceeded our expectations.

I grew up just down river from the cabin and spent many hours in my youth fishing and swimming in the river. My wife grew up just up the road a piece in Gladwin. Work took us away and we have lived near Tulsa OK for over 30 years now. We spend about 4 weeks a year here in our happy place and are happy to share it with you!

What makes this property unique

This cabin sits right on the beautiful Cedar River and there is a beautiful view of the river from the covered porch. There are stairs to access the river for fishing, swimming or kayaking. The river is relatively shallow with a sandy bottom in front of the cabin. We do recommend wearing water shoes while in the river. River use is at your own risk.
