This bustling neighborhood is just minutes from some of the best food, shopping, bars, and attractions in the country.
One of the greatest luxuries of DC: GREAT public transportation! The Columbia Heights Metro stop is a short 5 minute walk. There are also plenty scooters, bikes, and Uber/Lyft (they are FAST so make sure to be ready when you order it). - We love and respect our neighbors and our house - please do the same. - Please, no excessive noise, parties, events. - Only guests on the reservation may occupy the house. - Quiet hours are in place from 10pm to 8am. (As this is a row home neighbors are close by, and the upstairs unit is occupied year-round.) - No smoking and no pets. - The DC community cares about recycling and preserving the environment - please separate trash and recycling. - Please be tidy and clean up as necessary: dishes, trash, etc... - Enjoy DC!

This was a great place to stay. So easy to the metro and all the sights. Apartment is well appointed and clean. Austin is a wonderful host, very helpful and easy to reach.
Beautiful condo with a cozy living room, two spacious bedrooms and a modern kitchen (laundry room too)Lovely place with on street permit parking included and a short uber ride to all the sights. We loved it - highly recommend!
This apartment provided ample space for our family of four. It was very well decorated, cleaned, and maintained. It does not feel like a basement-- it has a windows in multiple rooms, a separate entrance in the front of the building. The neighborhood is cute, safe, and walkable, and the parking spot was convenient. We would stay there again.
The Property was very clean and exactly like the pictures. The hosts were very good with communication and detailed about what to expect parking in DC. Our family tests the limits of travel, since we come with small children, an older child with special needs, and all the equipment and health supplies that entails. We had a very comfortable stay, were able to figure out metro travel with our circus, and liked the street on which we were located. The only challenge with a large family is multiple people wanting to use the restroom at the same time, but that’s not unusual for traveling with kids. We would stay again if we find ourselves back in the area.
Super cute basement apartment. Newly renovated in soothing colors. Even though it is in the basement, it has windows and felt airy. We were able to walk to lunch and grocery. Kitchen amenities were good, especially coffee provided. Streets parking was always available. We will stay here again!
Great location for our purpose of visit. Close to the Metro, restaurants and Howard University. Very walkable for all of our needs. Spacious for 5 adults (all family), nice kitchen and bar seating made for a great open space to visit and enjoy a nice meal in. Comfortable beds, tall ceilings for garden apartment, nice closet shelving provided storage. We would stay here again.
Came with my partner and her kids and their friends to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. Lovely place which was aesthetically pleasing, clean, and had a great layout. Loved it!
Very fresh remodel. Looks brand new. Very clean. Safe neighborhood. Eight minute safe walk to metro, Target and Best Buy. Decent sized rooms full sized laundry. New appliances and supplies. Smart TV in LR and one BR. 25 minutes to the DC mall. Linens are 8/10. Host communicates immediately.
We were very pleased with our stay here. The owners provided a lot of info on the area and recommendations for places to eat. Close to public transportation. I do believe, however, that photos of the property, don’t do it justice. It was roomier than I anticipated, which was much appreciated as we were home-bound a little more than we expected it to be. I’d rent this place again in a heartbeat
