The remarkable River's Edge Cabin offers a picturesque riverside retreat, providing everything you need to unwind and immerse yourself in the surrounding natural beauty. Upon entering, you are greeted by a fully equipped kitchen boasting state-of-the-art appliances. The kitchen features a beautiful wooden counter with seating for four, perfect for leisurely breakfasts or casual conversations. The inviting living area features a cozy wood fireplace and breathtaking views of the river. A recent renovation has introduced a spacious dining room that comfortably accommodates 8-10 guests, along with a media room equipped with a large flat panel TV and an assorted collection of DVDs. Additionally, the media room offers a queen sofa sleeper for extra sleeping space. The main floor of the cabin is home to two guest rooms and a shared bath. The first guest room boasts a queen bed, while the second features a twin/queen bunk bed, ensuring a comfortable rest for all guests. Upstairs, the expansive master suite features a king bed, a private TV, and a luxurious private bath. The deck is furnished with ample seating and a gas grill, perfect for al fresco dining with the soothing sounds of the river as your backdrop. A private outdoor hot tub allows you to indulge in a soothing soak while savoring the tranquil ambiance of the river. River's End is the Best!

We stayed at River's End Cabin and had a great time. It's a lovely property - can't beat the river right out back! We were there with my grown kids and grandkids and they all loved it! The property is far enough away to enjoy the scenery, but close enough to go to town and do all the fun Durango "things." We went on a hike, a horse ride, a train ride, visited Mesa Verde national park, and the Durango hot springs. Fun Trip!

The Rivers Edge

Perfect if you're looking for a quite get away. The property is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Durango and is perfect for a quite stay or dropping into town. As well as finding many outdoor adventures. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality stay.

Wonderful river cabin

Nestled by the river yet close enough to enjoy Durango, we had the best of town and country. A well-supplied home with everything you will need. We highly recommend this home.

Perfect Setting...Loved it!

We had a great stay here over Memorial Day weekend. The setting on the Florida river surrounded by pine trees was so relaxing. The place is very clean and well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked. They have a done a really nice job on this listing. I would highly recommend you give it a try. I would love to buy this place! :)

The roperty is absolutely beautiful and just far enough off the highway to be secluded. The hot tub was an absolute need for us and one of the main reasons we chose this property. The only issue we had was the master bed. I have never had a worse nights sleep. The mattress has huge holes where people sleep and the middle has a huge hump in it. Basically like two very large people have been sleeping in the bed for years. I would have hoped for the price the beds would have been in better condition. We slept in the smaller downstairs bedroom for the rest of our stay and it was better but still not in great shape. Other than that the property was well maintained and very clean. We would definitely stay again!

Great time!

We had a great time at this Property. It was exactly as advertised! Creek was awesome, but cold! It was just the getaway we all needed. Lots of wildlife around the property too. Seemed to be a lot of restrictions though. Towels, linens, dishwasher use, social curfews, etc. It did not impact our experience, but just a lot of “donts” with the rental. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!

Wonderful!!

The Florida River was so alive. It moved so quickly and with lots of white water going over and around rocks. It’s not very deep, but the current seems strong. It’s a rocky bottom, so you would need good rubber boots to wade, as well as someone to watch out for you. There’s a big backyard between the house and the river. It would be a great place for family gatherings and games. The pictures below of the river are LIVE, so be sure to hold each down, when you click on them.. We loved this VRBO, and hope we can come back.The house was great. Everything is on the first floor, except the master bed and bath. The VRBO pictures are accurate. Very nice and relaxing.

We loved staying in this cabin. A couple things I do believe you need to know. First the left side of the sink leaks underneath in the cabinet. Second I believe the well needs air in it or some attention. When turning the water on there is a lot of air and spurts of water. Third the coffee maker is extremely slow. Either needs a good cleaning or replaced. The master bathroom needs a deep cleaning especially the shower. It is yellow from all the soap scum. We did enjoy our stay very much and would recommend and do plan on coming back in the future. These are just things I thought you should be aware of. Thank you for allowing us to stay and relax at this beautiful cabin. Renee Friemel

Turkey day get away!

Property was as described. River was extremely low due to lack of moisture they have received this year. Cabin was nice and cozy. Had a couple of things that can be expected for a place on a river in the mountains. There are definitely mice. Found some mouse poop in the second drawer down on the left side of the dishwasher when we went to get a serving spoon for the side dishes. Not a huge deal just had to wash all utensils prior to use. Like I said this is to be expected for a property with this kind of location. Cleaners did leave some towels hanging on the upstairs bathroom door and there was some trash behind the headboard(on the floor, which we did not touch) in the master bedroom upstairs. Other than those minor things the property is great and me and my family had a wonderful time. Great to get away with everything going on in the world today.

Everything about this property was lovely and relaxing. Sitting on the red Adirondack chairs, out by the river, were the best for relaxation. The VRBO description of the property was spot on and not exaggerated in any way. We would rent again in a heart beat! Easiest check in process ever and using the hot tub was also a great way to end each wonderful day! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
