Welcome to the Glass House!

This beautiful modern home is situated in Wellfleet's finest Paine Hollow/Pleasant Point South Wellfleet.

Named the "Glass House" because of the large glass sliding doors that wrap around the front of the house bringing in lots of natural light, making you feel at peace under the trees. Step out onto the deck or gaze out the window and you will see a myriad of birds that inhabit the 6+ acres of woodlands that surround the property.

This home can fit up to 6 people. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and extra queen size pull out bed in living room if needed.

We provide a very comfortable high end pull out couch situated in the main living room. In this room you will also find a flat screen TV equipped with cable and a dvd player. Also included is a Sonos sound system.

In the high end European stainless steel kitchen you will find everything you will need from a coffee maker to pots and pans. Off the kitchen is a screened in porch lined with outdoor lights and wicker furniture. Wrapped around the front of the house is a finished deck with comfy deck furniture and lounge chairs along with a weber grille. The house has central a/c for those hot summer days and nights. Not far from the house is a bay beach (about a 5 minute walk). Located under the deck we have an outside shower to rinse off after those salty days at the beach. See you this summer !

Wonderful Wellfleet stay!

Great location, amenities and privacy. It was just what our family of four needed - super clean and updated while also feeling like a treehouse.

Great getaway week at this place

Did a workation here for a week. The house was wonderful. Ended up spending a lot of time at the property because I was wfh for basically the whole trip. Hosts are very lovely people. Highly recommend staying here.

Pleasant Point gem

This lovely house is nestled in the woods while being a quick 10 minute walk to the beautiful trail along the marsh. It is a very pretty, comfortable home for 2 to 4 people that is true to the pictures on the website, only better. Serenely quiet, it offers great views of the oaks that surround the property. Comfortable beds, good linens and ample towels are a plus. A few more kitchen items, eg. electric kettle and salad spinner, would be appreciated. But altogether, a well-taken care of, splendid vacation home.

Great owners, bright and airy!

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for a week in the summer and had a great stay. The owners were nice and easy to communicate with when we had questions. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed being able to grill outside. There was just enough room for the three of us and we liked that both bedrooms were on the same floor. Location was great! A couple of times we wished this property had two bathrooms, but we managed with one bathroom just fine. The location of the TV was a little difficult, but we spent almost all our time sleeping or outside. We would definitely rent this property again.

Awesome Hideaway in Wellfleet

We had a great stay. We had just enough room for my husband, his parents, and our son. The place felt light and airy due to all the windows and interior design. And I spent several hours a day on the back porch surrounded by trees. The hosts were very communicative and responded quickly to all our questions. I would not hesitate to rent again.

Relaxing and comfortable

The Glass house was a great place to stay. Private, comfortable and clean. Convenient location to Wellfleet beaches, kettle ponds and town center. The kitchen had everything that was needed for making simple meals and BBQing. There were plenty of towels, relaxing places to sit and the mattresses were very comfortable.

The Glasshouse

The Glasshouse, shaded by trees, is aptly named as there are 3 large sliding, screened doors on two sides of the building, creating a perfect breeze through the house. We cooked all our meals and found all the kitchen equipment adequate for our needs. Beds are very comfortable. The setting is very private, which we loved. We enjoyed walking to the water and the conservation area nearby. The Glasshouse was a wonderful base for our time in Wellfleet.

Great trip on Pleasant Point

This house was perfect for our family of 4! It had everything we needed, and being situated among the trees was incredibly relaxing and private. The location allowed for lots of exploring of the bay shoreline, as well as easy access to all parts of Wellfleet. The owners were friendly and attentive - including a mid-trip preparation for a hurricane that luckily never arrived! We will definitely be back.

Love this house

We had a wonderful vacation. The house is very private with great outdoor deck space for kids and adults to hang out. The inside is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our hosts responded to any issues within minutes, and they live elsewhere on the property so they're easily accessible. We hope to be able to come back in future summers!

Gorgeous property!

We stayed at the Glass House in august and it was so perfect for our little family. My husband loves to cook and the stainless steel kitchen had all that we needed. There was an easy to use grill outside on the deck. Our two kids loved hanging out on the screened in porch. And we enjoyed taking our evening strolls down to the bay. We are so looking forward to our week in wellfleet at the glass house!

Comfortable Beds, Clean! Easy to walk to bay.

Such a relaxing, peaceful place to be. I've been coming to Wellfleet for over 40 years and this is one of my favorite houses that we have rented. Clean, comfortable, and perfect location to be. Love the privacy and to be able to play tennis next door was a bonus. Excellent conservations trails nearby for walking and love how close the bay is! Def a secret spot in Wellfleet. Can't wait for next summer!

Paine Hollow/Pleasant Point is one of the most beautiful places in Wellfleet.

My family has rented in Wellfleet for 10 years now. This was our first summer staying at the "Glass House." What a wonderful spot to be in the summer. The house is at the end of a very long driveway tucked away in a private wooded lot. Just a two minute walk through a path in the woods takes you to the tennis court on the owners property. We loved being able to play tennis and then take a dip in the bay, just down the street! How beautiful. The kids brought their bikes and loved riding around the neighborhood and playing with the fiddler crabs down at the bay. Next year we will bring our kayaks! The owners were the loveliest people and were most helpful if we were in need of anything. We will be renting next year. :)

lovely escape in Wellfleet

Spent a wonderful weekend here with friends. Newly renovated property in Wellfleet, clean with brand new appliances and grill. Tucked away in the woods. The owner's have a house up the driveway but the property felt very private. They never intruded except when we had questions about something. Wellfleet itself is lovely with numerous public beaches (you can also get a day or week pass for the private beaches), drive-in movie theater, great Lobster rolls and a phenomenal French bistro. Loved our week and will definitely be back.
