We had a good stay overall and appreciated Chris’s hospitality. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend trip. There were some bugs that took away from the experience, but otherwise everything was in great condition. We especially loved the deck and the view, it was definitely a highlight. I was so relaxed I even ended up falling asleep by the fire pit! With a few improvements, it could be an even better place to stay.

Since the home is near the river and surrounded by nature, insects outdoors are part of the environment, especially during warmer months. We do regular pest control, but we always like to be transparent so guests know what to expect. We’d love to host you again!

This is a beautiful property which is essentially brand new-only about a year old! The kitchen is very well-stocked, perfect for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable and the deck was great for grilling and spending time by the fire pit. It is secluded but we had no time finding the place. Conveniently located near the town of Luray with quick access to Shenandoah for hiking.Only recommendation is for light sleepers to bring an eye mask-there is a lot of beautiful natural light but it can wake you up early in the summer months!

What a beautiful home to spend time in. Tucked up on a beautiful mountainside with all modern amenities; great wifi service, indoor and outdoor cooking and deck/fire pit places to sit and enjoy the view. Beautiful property and extremely clean. The kitchen had every kind of seasonings, pots n pans, baking pans, storage bags, coffee, etc. All you need to bring is what you want to eat/cook and your clothes. The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly if you have any questions. Great place to stay!

This home was immaculately clean with all the creature comforts of home and absolutely stunning views. The hosts were on top of everything making sure we had all we needed along with sightseeing destinations, recreational activities and restaurants the area consisted of. A binder provided any and all information such as trails & hiking routes on the property as well as the surrounding areas. They even had a list of every emergency number we may have needed including my personal favorite, the nearest Veterinarian. Every detail was thought of which in turn made this trip so easy!
