We loved this house. It’s beautiful and thoughtfully equipped, and the location is ideal: right by the charming Teaque General Store and a short drive from Woodstock. The large porch was a favorite spot, and the spacious kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. We feel lucky to have found it and would happily stay again.

Fabulous rental. Well appointed with lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was beautiful with soapstone countertops and everything needed to cook a great meal..lots of spots in the house for big groups with multiple sitting and dining spaces both inside and out! Great location for summer relaxation of ski season. Fabulous hosts! Highly recommend

The house is in a quiet rural setting but close to Woodstock which has many good restaurants and historical attractions. The Marsh Billings Rockefeller National Park is also a 5 minute drive and has a beautiful wooded area with a carriage road and paths for hiking. Also a lake with a path around it, We were there in the fall prior to peak colors to avoid crowds and it was perfect. We caught the last outdoor concert which was right across the street and saw an art show at a gallery also across the road. Attended a farmers market a short walk away at the S6 ski area. Found some interesting and pretty artist creations to take home. The Teago General Store was a great place for breakfast and lunch sandwiches and had very friendly staff. Also a short walk. The Appalachian Trail is close by and my husband took a hiker back to the trail one day from the General Store which saved him a mile in a long day of hiking. The house itself is very comfortable, clean and well equipped with many areas to relax in. Would definitely stay again.

Colleen, a quiet rural setting with Woodstock's restaurants and the Marsh Billings Rockefeller park a five minute drive away is exactly the balance this spot offers. Fall just before peak colour sounds ideal, especially with the concert, gallery, and farmers market all within a short walk. Come back when the leaves turn.
