About the host
Hosted by Christian Pechuekonis
Christian and Lynn live just around the corner from this property. We've been here since 2017 and absolutely love living in Harpers Ferry. It's beautiful little village brimming with history! We've been hosting a B&B over at our house for nearly 9 years and have loved the hospitality business. Welcoming guests to St. John's is a newer venture.
Why they chose this property
This section of the Harpers Ferry residential Historic District is a bit further off the beaten path, so it's quieter than the old Lower Town area by the rivers and the busy train tracks. It's also close to some of the better restaurants and cafes in town.
What makes this property unique
St. John's was a historic church that closed in late 2023. We love preserving history, so we bought the building and converted it into a home. Our goal was a modern and beautiful dwelling that honored the building's past. It was hard work designing rooms to work well within the available space, but now we're thrilled with the way it turned out. It's a rare listing in the Harpers Ferry Historic District that has a sitting area large enough to accommodate groups of up to 8 guests.
