Premier Town Villa in the Yosemite Area with Hot tub, Patios and Sport Court

Newly remodeled and completely restored, this is one of the most beautiful homes in the town of Mariposa, and it's only 35 minute drive away from the Yosemite National Park entrance!

Historic and beautifully restored Spanish Colonial home, located in the heart of the historic district of downtown Mariposa. Just steps away are the amazing local restaurants and unique downtown shops that truly make this gold rush era town a wonderful destination.

Enjoy a beautiful drive to Yosemite Valley from Mariposa through the river canyon on California Scenic Highway 140.

The house has been beautifully restored while still maintaining its historic qualities. It is newly refurnished and has three bedrooms with king sized beds. A sun/game room offers additional sleeping space. Additional air mattress and fold out pads are also provided when requested. For cooks, a gourmet kitchen offers new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with all tools and gadgets needed to prepare meals. The dining room has an expandable table sitting up to twelve people. The living room has a gas fireplace for warmth and atmosphere as well as a 64 inch HDTV with DirecTV, and two recliners, a couch, and a love seat. The bathrooms have been fully remodeled with granite and travertine finishes with walk in showers.

The outside court yard is spacious and provides privacy while only steps away from downtown. There are two travertine tables with seating for twelve and a fire pit table to sit around at the end of the night while relaxing and making s'mores. A new seven person, 120 jet hot tube is also located in the courtyard

All Linens and towels are provided and the kitchen is stocked with the basics.

Loved this beautiful house! We used it as our base to visit Yosemite. Although it’s a bit of a drive, we enjoyed coming back at the end of the day and being able to walk to restaurants. The house itself was spacious, well set-up and very comfortable!

Such a beautiful property and so well stocked. This was the best supplied house I've ever rented. The hot tub was great after a long day at Yosemite. We liked the house so much that we cancelled 2 dinners out to stay and cook to enjoy the house. Brian was quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us great suggestion for restaurants in town. I would definitely stay here again.

All the comforts of home, great stay!

This place was awesome! Well stocked, it had everything you needed, very clean, beautiful property. Great location, about an hour from the gate to Yosemite (with no traffic). We really appreciated the coffee grinder and enjoyed the local coffee beans. Beds were very comfortable.

Great place to relax after days in Yosemite

This a great place to stay to have the best of both worlds; good food and small town options in Mariposa and a great jumping off point to exploring Yosemite. The house was clean, well stocked with all necessities (including my fave, soft towels and many towels). The hot tub was great after lots of hiking and it was a great place to hang out and be. Amazing Home & Amazing Hosts

This is our favorite home of all the homes we’ve rented in the US. Brian is super responsive. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare meals for 6 easily. The hot tub was awesome, as was all of the outdoor seating. The charm of the house is amazing and the location is perfect for Yosemite and Sequoia We will be back.

Gorgeous home with all the amenities

Beautiful and spacious, this home was just perfect as a home base for Yosemite. There is ample room to kick back and relax, 2 separate dining areas outside, and we loved the big hot tub. We also really enjoyed playing pickleball on the sport court. Home is fully equipped with everything you might need and owners are very responsive. Fabulous property

Travelled to Mariposa for my daughter’s wedding. This house felt like home. We enjoyed time with family and friends while celebrating this momentous occasion. Had plenty of room for everyone. Favorite Vacation Home!

First of all, Brian and Bruce are the most attentive and accomodating Hosts we have experienced on our many Holiday Family VRBO trips. Then the location being in the quaint town of Mariposa with proximity to Yosemite and snow is wonderful. The spaciousness of the house, the beautiful grounds, the comfortable beds and clean showers, the ping pong and sports court where several of us got our fun and exercise playing pickleball every day, and so many other amenities like hotel quality shower items, games, kitchen supplies and equipment made this home at the top of our list as all time favorite, comfortable and enjoyable homes to stay in for a family Holiday!

This property exceeded our expectations! We were visiting to explore Yosemite and we wish we had more time to spend at the house and in Mariposa. Unlike many rentals, all of the things you’d need in the house to get started were there. The house was very clean and you can tell effort has been put into the details. We really enjoyed the court and played pickleball nightly. We taught our kids to play chess on the lovely chess table. The location was perfect for our needs. We walked to The Grove, Happy Goat, the bbq joint, and Sticks. All were fabulous. Also great was the local grocer - Pioneer Market. Hosts were great too. An all around great stay that flew by!

We had such a wonderful stay in this charming and beautifully restored home! The property is simply lovely and in a convenient location to walk into Mariposa while also feeling like a luxurious private retreat. We used it as a "home base" to explore around Yosemite and it was a relaxing space to return to after each day of adventures. The beds are very comfortable, and the house is well-equipped with everything we could need, especially in the kitchen. We also enjoyed the hot tub and my kids loved the sports courts. Best of all, Brian is the most responsive and accommodating host I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Thanks for an excellent stay!

Beautiful Home in a Sweet Town

We had a great time on this property! It was clean and had almost everything we needed. If you are a guest, I’d recommend buying or bringing shampoo/conditioner/body wash because there wasn’t enough for our party if 8 there. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both beautiful, and we had a great time with the host leaving detailed instructions. The only thing I’d recommend is a towel rack for the master bedroom bathroom downstairs, but otherwise it’s a perfect place to stay!

Lovely home

The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It sits a short block from downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. It felt safe enough that my teens went and got breakfast on their own. It was a solid 55 mins to the Yosemite gate and 15-20 mins further into the valley. The trade off of the drive was not being stuck living with the hoards of people staying in Yosemite. Worth it imo.

Holiday - Yosemite visit

Brian’s house was the perfect place to stay for us as we wanted to visit the Yosemite park, but at the same time wanted to stay in a town. The house is beautiful and had lots of space. It felt luxurious. Our teens really enjoyed the sports facilities, even though it was quite hot when we were there: the basketball court, where we also played pickle ball and we had a serious table tennis competition going on. Brian was really helpful when we had some questions on using the appliances and even brought us extra ice for the freezer. Thanks for having us, we loved staying at your house.
