This two story light and bright beach cottage is located on the bay side of Mission Beach, a few houses away from both bay and beach. Enjoy quiet nights on the patio and decks. Sip delicious nitro brewed coffee from Better Buzz two doors down and walk to restaurants, boutiques, bikes, paddle boards, jetpack experience, kayaking, boating, and surf lessons. Jump on bikes or take an afternoon walk to ride the Big Dipper Roller Coaster at sunset, zip through Belmont Park on the zip lines, or see how long you can stand up on the wave machine. This house is in the heart of historic Mission Beach. Whether you're into a calm Bayside bike ride or want to experience the quintessential boardwalk, hunting for shells, surfing or boogie boarding at a quiet break frequented by locals, this location and house has something for everyone. 2 Baths, 3 Queen Beds, 1 Sofa Bed, 1 Sectional Couch (sleeps 6 - 8). Attached 2 car garage for sought-after beach parking and stashing your boards. Full-sized washer and Dryer. Chef's Kitchen stocked for the cook in your group! Perfect for family with young kids

Was a home away from home for our family with young kids. Stocked with kid friendly items as well as adult items. The kids loved exploring the Bay, the Ocean and parks within walking distance. We definitely will be repeat visitors.

My two kids and I stayed for 5 nights and loved it! Right in between the bay and the beach, close to restaurants and a market within 100 feet. It's a large house so we had plenty of room. Highly recommend.

The home was clean and the listing was accurate! The house is walking distance to several restaurants, bars, the beach, etc. Having a garage to park our rental car in was super convenient!! The house is amazing! It seems huge for a 2 bedroom. My family of 6 did not feel cramped at all. 2 bathrooms with showers was a huuuge plus.We road bikes, spent time on the beach and the bay. I highly recommend you bring bikes and just leave the car parked as much as possible. The garage is spacious

We enjoyed 4 nights in this fabulous home. It has real character and great spaces inside and out to enjoy. The kitchen is very equipped and the bed very comfortable Tbe location is fantastic- loads of great places to eat literally on the door step.. The garage is a great size and fitted our rental suv easily. Everything for the beach is there in the garage. Highly recommend for a stay in san diego- we hope to return again soon! Terri is grrat - always on hand if required.All instructions and directions were clear and easy to follow which really helped as we were travelling from the UK

A fun place to gather family together.

It was a roomy, well-maintained house, in a great location convenient (walking a short distance) to both mission bay and mission beach as well as to restaurants and most importantly just steps to the Better Buzzed Coffee place and the Olive Cafe. It was also a convenient starting place to drive up to La Jolla and Del Mar. My siblings and I had fun also just watching tv together in the spacious and comfortably furnished living room. The balcony off one of the bedrooms is a bonus! And up the spiral stairs from it is another rooftop balcony where one can enjoy the views and ocean air and the fireworks from Seaworld. Thanks to Terri for opening up her home!

This place was great. We had everything we needed and then some. It is right next to a great coffee shop and a very short walk to olives. We enjoyed many nights on the patio watching the fireworks. We will definitely try and stay here again.

Welcome to our tropical beach house in the heart of Mission Beach. We built this custom home to enjoy beach and bay; best of both worlds! It's just short walk to all the best restaurants and shops in Mission Beach and when family comes into town we love to bike to the famous Big Dipper wooden roller coaster, fly on the ziplines and play mini-golf at Belmont Park. We know you'll enjoy our two story beach house because it's in the prime location for the beach, fun and relaxing and Mission Beach has something for everyone!

Why they chose this property

Our area is a friendly neighborhood and located in the heart of Mission Beach on the peninsula. It is a short walk to Santa Clara Recreation Center offering a variety of summer water sport lessons, camps and rentals for everyone! If you like to fish or boating this is the spot for you! Great location for shore fishing a few minutes walk from the house or there are plenty of boat rentals. We can arrange for a couple hours boat ride with our boat too! Contact us for details. Leave the car parked in the garage and walk to a variety shops, activities and restaurants. A brand new large, modern playground just opened on the bay a few minutes walk from the house. The bay is ideal for infants and toddlers as the water is more mellow and calm.

What makes this property unique

This house is ideal for a family or small group. Garage is stocked with beach supplies: chairs, umbrella, towels, kids beach toys, boogie boards, tubes, ice chest with wheels and a beach wagon to haul it all to the beach! There are several boat, SUP rentals and surf schools within walking distance.
