The space

This historic home blends original character with thoughtful updates, offering a stay that feels both rooted in the past and comfortable for today. With three bedrooms and two baths, the home accommodates up to six guests across two levels. Upstairs, you’ll find one queen bedroom and one full bedroom, while downstairs offers an additional queen bedroom for added privacy and convenience. Wood floors, cozy nooks, and a narrow staircase reflect the home’s heritage, while light-filled rooms create a welcoming atmosphere throughout.

The living area centers around a woodstove, creating a natural gathering place after a day spent exploring nearby trails and waterways. A SmartTV and Wifi are available for quieter moments indoors, and heating and air conditioning help maintain comfort through changing temperatures.

Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at your own pace, with a dining table that brings everyone together. Whether you’re starting the day with coffee or winding down with a shared dinner, the space is designed for easy, relaxed use.

Outdoor living

Set on three private acres, the property offers open space and a connection to nature in every direction. Spend afternoons exploring the grounds or take a short walk to Ice Mountain Nature Preserve. Enjoy time on the porch with outdoor furniture arranged for both quiet moments and shared conversation. A BBQ grill is available for outdoor cooking when the weather allows.

Comfortable, sheets were outstanding! Host was very accommodating and answered questions right away. Could use a little more lighting, stairs were dark.
